The advice I got that made me stay with my husband was that-no one will ever love your children like their father. Now I know that there are shitty dads out there and exceptions to this rule. But it applied in my case. My husband is a great father. Just not a great husband. I stayed. We have been together for 26yrs. I honestly don’t know if it was the right decision. But it’s the one I made and I stuck with it. For the record my husband doesn’t cheat. He’s just a homebody and gives me no attention. He’s not a bad husband-I shouldn’t have said that.Just not the right fit for my personality I would say. That’s all. We were super young when we got together. 17 and 22.

I’m so sorry to hear this. If you allow me, let me share a few advices I wished I had received when I was younger. I’m a 41 years old mum of 4, I’m divorced and 2 of my kids are neurodivergent and have a bunch of other medical issues. Kyle seems to be a good guy, he doesn’t disrespect you, doesn’t abuse you, doesn’t cheat on you, is a great father and family man. You should think twice before separating and maybe try counselling. It is very rare and precious to marry your best friend. Damien is safe with both of you, and maybe Kyle could change his mind about having another child, and I don’t think he would ever resent you for having another child, he would love the child, no matter what. You both have been through so much together and have built so much together, don’t let it all fall apart, together as a family you are strong. I don’t think going with another man would benefit Damien at all, as anyone here can tell that Damien is a very sensitive child. It is very rare to find someone who will love your child the way you do. Think real good about the situation, try counselling, don’t rush into anything, you’re still young, you can still have other kids, but you won’t find another best friend to marry. It’s understandable that you are you young and wand to try new things, but believe me, the grass is not always greener elsewhere. Think of Damien, as he’s your top priority. Other men might come and go, but not your best friend, not your babies’ daddy. Sorry if I’ve said anything offending or judgemental here but believe me, I wish someone had told me all these things years ago.

OMG, Tiffany! That was truly a HUGE bombshell. To be honest with you, I had sort of started wondering about something like this when you took off for Mexico by yourself, but I was hoping and praying that I was wrong. Gosh, how I wish I were wrong! To say that I'm in total shock would be a HUGE understatement. I've been following you, Kyle, Makayla, and Damien for a good number of years, and I have grown to love you guys very much. I was absolutely devastated when Makayla died. But, having some background in psychology, I know that something like this has the potential to either make or break a marriage. I feel extremely sad, not only for Damien, but also for both you and Kyle, because I know that in your heart of hearts, you guys will always love each other. Maybe, just maybe, spending some time apart, maybe you guys can do some soul-searching, and kinda reorganize your thoughts and everything. As for having another baby, I can see both Kyle's side and yours. On the one hand, sure, you guys are both still young enough. And children are so precious, and basically, you get to grow up all over again, looking at the world through their eyes and all that. On the other hand, though, Damien's now about ten years old, and he's had your undivided attention since Makayla died. And I can see potential problems (difficulties) about him having to adjust to another little sibling, who, at least for a good number of years, will require more attention from you. I wish I could give both you and Kyle some useful advice, but I guess at the end of the day, it's probably preferable, in the long run, to separate and remain close friends, rather than stay together and eventually end up resenting each other. I think I have a fairly good grasp about "people" in general, though, so I think I'm very confident that you and Kyle will still be the best parents to Damien and will work out the "co-parenting" thing in the best possible way. And I (and all your other followers) will be praying for you guys to make all the right decisions (whatever those may be) and may the next chapter (and all the following ones) be filled with happiness, success, and lots of fun and laughter, and (most importantly) good health for all of you guys. Sorry you all are going through this, I know it's tough after that many years. I went through this May 2023. I was with my daughter's "father" for 28yrs on & off, but was together the past 10yrs straight. Our daughter is 25 now & is severely disabled, total care, on a ventilator. Last May he had snuck his clothes out the basement window to his female he had a kid with in 2011. Well May 30 our daughter just got out of the hospital, so may 31 he told me he was going for a bike ride & he would call me shortly. I've not heard 1 word from him since. Not asked about my daughter or nothing. Unbelievable. Walked out on her like she's trash. 😡. I was completely supporting him financially, but now he's there with them & working supporting them. Not a penny or supplies or a gift for his adult child, who's like a 5 month old baby. Thankfully you 2 will continue to be friends & be civil for your son. Blended families rarely truly work for everyone involved from my experience, as it is so difficult to find someone who will love your child unconditionally. I’m literally just beyond stunned like I was when Makayla died despite having a feeling about it because such a long length of time between videos. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but it seems many couples break down when their child passes away. I know someone this happened to, they had been together for more than 30 years and then they lost a teenage son and somehow the marriage was still ok and then their second son died still in his 20’s and the whole relationship just fell apart. I’m really sad for you and Kyle as you two really were so much light in our viewers eyes. I think a lot of it was due to the amount of time you two have been together and how you were building an even better future despite losing Makayla. I’m incredibly sorry, I know it’s not words that change but anyway, I really hope the two of you can somehow find some level of peace and solace after the full split.

Unlike most in this comment section, I’m divorced and a single parent. My boy has non verbal autism and a rare heart condition. The first 6 months suck, then you realise everyone in society judges you. Then you get over it and realise what society thinks doesn’t matter. You are beautiful, you are great and you can do it on your own. Your reasons for divorce does not matter. People will judge you for it no matter the reason. Just live your life for yourself and no one else! The only one who will have regrets is you! The people judging you won’t have your regrets. So who cares what they say! You only live once, no point in living it with someone who doesn’t want what you want. ❤ You’ve got this!

Sorry about this but as long as Damian is happy and you can co-parent respectfully that's what matters the most. I can say that I saw this coming your videos just showed less togetherness and even though couples do take separate trips your trip to Mexico had me wondering. My questions if you do a Q & A are: 1. Will you have to sell the house? 2. Are your parents planning on staying now to offer you support or do they still plan to find property to build? 3. Are Kyle or you planning on moving out of the house/do you have a timeline? 3. Did you 2 consider or do marriage counseling? 4. With your parents and Kyles dad living with you did they see it coming or was it shocking for them? 5. Don't want to get too much into Damian personal life because I believe a child's life should be just that personal but does he understand what is happening or will be happening in the future? Have you sought counseling for him so he has someone besides his family that he can speak to? I work in a school and often having an outside for a child to speak to is so beneficial even though parents believe their child tells them everything and a counselor can help them process things properly. 6. If wanting more children was not an issue on either side would you stay married or were there other issues? You don't have to say what they were as that is no ones business. 7. Since you want more children are you planning on adopting or do you have a plan to be pregnant within a specific timeline
