you can't stack fire resists on anything but aux power. each component has a different elemental resist innately. and the diminishing returns on DEF start around 50k. unless you're ajax.

Same goes for elemental resistances aswell, after 5000 you barely get any damage reduction.

There’s a diminishing return number for EVERY character and currently 4 start there’s at 30k so this comment is actually Inaccurate except AJAX who can easily get his 70% dmg reduction with 100k defense and a module NOBODY WEARS😂

Soloed pyro yesterday with Bunny / Thunder Cage , maxed out HP + HP collector , Chill enhancement and fire resistant . Used TC for close up and a sniper rifle for the back piece to kick him out of immunity . Using lightning emission makes it easy taking down the minions which also procs HP collector constantly . Took a while to farm for all the pieces and materials BUT after 20+ times failing with a group it's worth the grind .

One thing about Pyro is that he has a gimmick the game doesn't tell you. He has very high damage reduction to weapons, but no resistance whatsoever to skills. Ajax shield's reflect damage is great cause it not only protects you, but all reflected damage the boss takes counts as skill damage. And of course, the most important tip: do it solo, regardless if it's normal or hard Pyro, for massive reduced boss health and damage, it makes the fight SO MUCH easier. In fact any boss the game allows you to solo it's a night and day difference on how easier it gets.

I struggled for 3 days aswell, then I just went in solo and killed it within 4 minutes. My problem was the random teammates either died or didn't deal any damage and I had to run to res them which stopped me from doing damage too. So just doing it solo was so much easier hahaha

The pyromaniac boss fight gates you behind lv 65 weapons and components. Not to mention kuiper for mods and catalysts are a lot easier to get later on. And not everyone has the luxury to play all day. So yes, your argument makes no sense. And helping people is not wrong.

I like the vibe you have. Nice to see someone else in a similar position to me, leveling and just trying to make it to hard mode. I had trouble even with the chill boss. Have you tried fighting pyromancer solo? I read that each player in your party makes the boss harder by 20%
