“You cannot sit idly by…” As Americans, we take action and lead from the front. Sam Dillon answered the call after 9/11 and joined the Marines. Today he is the President of Local 718, the Boston Firefighters Union. Sam sat down with Fran Racioppi in Boston’s newest fire department to discuss what it means to be a Boston firefighter and just how he plans to lead the department’s 2000 members into the next generation.
