I have watched you forever. I worked in radiation and was around death over 6 years. Cancer patients are one of the strongest people I have ever known. She still struggles everyday and is very withdrawn and goes months without leaving her house. No one should have to bury their children or their spouse, but unfortunately it's a tragic reality. My friend lost her boyfriend a year this November. He was murdered by his own cousin. He was stabbed in the throat and she got him to her car and he said I'm not gonna make it and died in her arms. A few weeks later some guy was hanging around, I minded my own business. They have been together ever since. She's a totally different person, happy and giddy. But he was insecure about things she had of Scott's and I feel she didn't grieve his death like she should have. I know we all do things differently but I'm afraid one day she's gonna break down and the new guy won't handle it well. I feel she should have been alone for a while before getting involved so soon.

when you lose someone that is your true love and soulmate you never really get over it. My mom cried almost every day for 15 years after my dad died. She dated other men eventually but none of them lasted very long. It sucks but that's the one draw back to falling in love with someone. When you lose them it is miserable

He died in front of me and our daughter. 38 years together since i was 16 years old. He died 2017. Two years later and it feels like he died yesterday. Living without that person who was your everything is the hardest thing you have to face. Please leave this man alone and let him grieve. You could see it in his face he is devastated. He will never be the same again. Give him time right now he need the support of his family. God bless him im living it. Take care of yourself and forget theses reporters who have not lost the love of their life. He should take some time of himself. Definitely get therapy to help you sort all these feelings. Dog, bless your heart. My husband heard you and broke down and cried. I've had a few close calls and I've no idea what this man would do had I'd been taken from him so soon. God willing my husband was with me both times and I swea God heard his prayers and never let me leave his side. My husband and children are my world, so I've raised my kids to be strong because if I ever do leave this world I've told them, "if anything happens to me dont you leave your Daddy's side, he will need all of you to be with him to keep him grounded". They know I run this family and do everything to bring them all together and prepare our home for every occasion and I been trying to pass this on to my kids because its important to leave them with our traditions and our culture to pass onto my descendants. Since life almost took me I tell my life to them as often as I can and leave them with words of wisedom. As a women I dont want my husband marrying nobody and honestly would probably be very upset should he ever think marrying anyone but me would be ok with me. I don't want him alone but nope ...hes got one soulmate and that's me. Call it selfish but when someone is a part of you as true soulmates know, you belong to one another in life and in the afterlife. As a married couple you and Beth have been our idol's! We love you two! The knowledge you two have this understanding has made me positive in the understanding I share with my husband on the subject. So sad that people have to audacity to judge how quick he moves on or not. Every.Single.Interview his pain pours through and I find myself even crying. He's an older man, he isn't no young chicken. You have done so much for your community. You have taken methamphetamine off the streets ,you have captured more felons then any police officer I have ever known. Elizabeth Shanks Thank you very much. I was on the sheriffs department for 25 years and I never have seen anyone do what he has accomplished. Putting cuffs on a fugitive is hard enough, but when you throw in the equation of arresting them and then taking them to get something to eat and attempting to give them another life.,... that is one hell of a task. He has a gift. He knows when to hold them and when to fold them. I remember watching the first season of the show and thinking who the hell is this..... and as I watched the remainder of the season I realized That he is for real. I have been married for 30 years and I know if I lost my wife...... I would be destroyed as well.
