I'm taking down all of my Christmas decor and adding in some winter decor. i hope this after Christmas kitchen reset gives you all the motivation you need to take down your Christmas decor. As someone who watches several decorating channels, (and yours is one of my favorites) I disagree that you have to decorate early for your viewers. Playing your old videos from last year was a great idea, but I would rather see you decorate in a normal time frame because when you tube decorates early, it stresses me out and makes me feel like I'm behind. Also, it's your life! If you don't want to take down Christmas, don't! 😊

Actually I totally agree with you. We search for videos to motivate and inspire us before tackling the job, I appreciate those who anticipate that. I take down my Christmas decorations in two steps, leaving some inside lights up until the new Year. I take my outside lights down around the 4th of January. We can do it when we feel it's time, and enjoy doing it along with you ❤

I always keep my tree up until at least mid January. This year I may just undecorate it and leave up the lights, because it makes me happy. And since the decor police aren't real we can all have our homes the way we each want them😉

Hello Robin!!! I keep my coco bar up because it's winter!! I love it!!! Decorate with things that bring you joy!!! Keep that pioneer woman tree out!!!!! Christmas came and went so fast this year!!! Hi Robin....a Blessed New Year to you and your family. I have enjoyed our KZbin friendship so much. I thank you for that and look forward to our 2024 together. I have dark cabinets.....we built in 1983. I updated some when we were hit with a tornado in 2015. I did change hardware on cabinets but I like the dark yet. A lot of people would probably disagree. I go by what I like and our comfortable with rather than what's "in". The top of my cabinets are open too. Thanks for all your ideas...I have used a few 👍. Enjoy your time off in your beautiful home. Hi Sweet Sis! Out of 3 generations of women I am the only survivor of cancer and so I carry on the family tradition of keeping my Christmas tree and decorations up until after January 1st. But I understand you have to do it early to give us some sweet inspiration and ideas to decorate for winter. We have the same little lamp the one you have a lambs ear wreath around. So happy that you are taking some time off from work. Thank you so much for your sweet and beautiful inspiration. If we were neighbors I would come over and paint for you it's one of my favorite hobbies especially painting landscape and seascape pictures. I just got through painting our bathroom. Hi Robin! Happy New Year! Hope 2024 brings you and your family so much Love and joy my friend. I leave Christmas up until the day of Kings when the 3 wise men reached baby Jesus. After that I take out everything that is Christmas but leave what looks wintery. In February I add Valentine's Day, but take it all down right after and do Spring right after. I did a coffee bar this year. It was not my first time, but it was my largest one due to the fact that I was going to be having a lot of company. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I did pull my Christmas items out after Christmas and left kind of a red and white look because you know Valentine’s Day is coming up and it is still cold! Ha!

Hello Robin! Thank you for such great inspiration. We are leaving most of our holiday decor up for a couple more weeks. My son is a Sailor and was away for the holidays. He gets to come home on the 4th for a week and has asked that I leave Christmas up for him. I would leave it up till March if he asked, lol! Can’t get into my Spring decor yet, we are in the North East and it’ll be at least 3.5-4 months until we see Spring here so I like to keep it warm and cozy feeling.

I am keeping some Christmas decorations but changing over to winter cardinals and snowmen, etc. So, red will continue into February with Valentine's. The Christmas tree now has snowflakes and crystals like ornaments. My birthday is in January, and I do not take down the tree until afterward. Happy New Year Robin... The cocoa bar didn't get much use this year, probably due to unseasonably warm temperatures and lack of snow during the Christmas season here in Michigan. No new resolutions to speak of, just the promise to myself to make my little corner of the world brighter and that includes painting the ceiling in the open concept living and dining area that I didn't do in 2023.
