One of the few songs I feel sound better in male vocals than female. But I got to admit, this duet is probably my favourite version of it so far and I must of heard it being covered, remixed and sung by at least 6 to 7 different men and women by now.

@@RiRiRiPoks Late reply. Same. Men can be quite charming/ attractive in their own way but a lot of male love songs are either boasting - I have money. I am successful there go come to me in some form - pleading - I don't deserve you. Here is the things I will do to make up for that - I like the duet because both sides are singing about being in love with no power dynamic and wanting the same thing. They both want each other. That's it. It's really refreshing. There is not one moment they mention how attractive the female is either which normally just becomes a way of indirect boasting - but not always - It's just two people singing a love song, the male leads, the female returns and then they both sing of wanting each other to the end. It's a marked improvement of the original, at least in what it's expressing to me.

@ndfdm5705 There are more male than female singers when making calm/husky yet clear tone, but there are few female singers I know that can do the same perfectly, just anyone pulling off that weak but clear voice is so charming to me

@@RiRiRiPoks Oh yeah, totally. Although to be fair, I don't think I've seen a lot of women even try. Even stuff you might expect to have slower, calming voice....like a personal more introspective song - eg: anti hero - and when they do, in my experience, a lto of them are not singers. They're rappers so they tend to either just...talk - vaguely sing- or have a obvious bit of struggle with it. YOU...might...enjoy STORMZY CD This is what I mean. It's not like the singer and his voicei s deeper. But a lot of the songs are just stormzy singing/ rapping to much slower, more romantic and calming tones.
