This is a good love story.❣💯The writers/producers did not weary the viewers with irrational behavior and toxic feelings. There was good support from everyone for the female lead: the ML's friends told him he was wrong when he did something wrong and his family scolded him when his wife was hurt. The ML's feelings of hurt from being drugged and used were clear and understandable; the FL's sadness and frustration did not cause her to lose her dignity. The couple comes back together after misunderstandings and heartbreak💔. More love to the couple.💞💖💝

I have watched this on several platforms… there is something poignant about the story. This works because the chemistry of CP and also how the two leads acted so well. ML has a variety of micro expressions that differentiate between when he was disdainful of FL and his remorses as well as when he finally shows love for FL. FL is a good actor especially with her lost , tortured looks.❤❤ The best part is how the ML family loves and supports her. I hope more script writers do this type of script rather than mere tortures and drama that are abusive.

This drama surprised me but in a good way. First of all, they didn’t portray the mother in law as a shrew. The Sister in law was not a brat. There was no screaming! Everyone talked in a quiet way. The green tea wasn’t given too much screen time. It was really about the ML coming to terms about how much he misjudged the FL and the way he went about trying to get her back. I must applaud the writers for making the FL a reasonable person. There is really only so much abuse a person can take.

Ok, I actually liked this. It wasn’t your typical doormat goes back to a scumbag show. 🙄 There was actually a lot of nuance in this plot. It focuses on her as we see the final breakdown of their marriage, then as neatly as she cuts herself from him, we see much less of her and the focus is on him as he discovers how things really happened, what his wife is really like and then as he works to make up for his behavior. After a some effort on his part, the perspective becomes more equal between them as they start to move together, until the final scenes when they are literally together all the time. (They’re so cute together! 🥰 He’s so clingy!) It’s sad that there are lots of segments out of order, as this really detracts from the flow of the story, but it’s still watchable. Something that’s kinda unique about this show is that the FL is surrounded by affection and support. Sure there are some mean, hurtful people around her, but they are far outnumbered by the people who care about her. Even his friends! And I loved how the ML’s family adored her (that slap his mom gave him was EPIC! 😲) even over him! This was a journey and parts of it weren’t pleasant, especially in the beginning. But it helps that there weren’t any crazy leaps of logic or dumb excuses to force a happy ending on us. I seriously felt like they worked hard for their ending and I don’t begrudge them that. And I would even watch it again! Oh, and those were some of the hottest kisses at the end that I’ve seen on any show. 🤭 Seriously. Hottest. Those plus that chest shot were a much appreciated bonus to end the show! 😜

Agree with all you have written, adding on, the acting skills of ML and FL were excellent. Facial expressions and interactions with all actors were natural, no dramatic screaming. I especially like the proposal scene, it was private, emotional and romantic. No outsiders shouting fake encouragement without knowing the basis for the proposal. Saved it to rewatch when I want to watch an uplifting C Drama. 👍

It’s about the couple and their feelings for each other, instead of a dramatic (often ridiculous) spectacle with a bunch of rando people. I’ve even seen a couple where the ML will give a quiet heartfelt proposal, and I’m all - awww! 🥰 Say yes! Say yes! And instead the FL will turn him down and demand a “real” proposal! And all I’m thinking is- Are you a moron?! 🤦🏼‍♀ That was a “real” proposal! And if you can’t appreciate that, then maybe he should rethink it. 🤨 Sorry! 🤗Bit of a rant there! This kinda bugs me. 😅

Okay people might find it a waste that she forgave him but I personally do appreciate both of them. He is definitely at fault for not giving her the respect she deserved BUT, he repented at his decision and sprang into action the moment he knew he liked her all along even if it is too late.. His impression of her started as a scheming woman and his grand pa tied him to her. She was active in managing the company and he kept misjudging her that she was after the Huo family wealth. This mistrust masked his way of looking at her. He tried to make her leave by faking affairs but she didn't leave and he thought she is just after money and not him and she lied when she said that she liked him. Through all this process he got so attached to her that he didn't bother to even imagine she would leave him one day thought he wanted a lier out of his life badly. But when she took a step and divorced him in a nonchalant way, his normality started to disrupt. The reason I appreciate the ml is that he has the will to go through hurdles to get her back. He immediately began focusing on her feelings, decisions and situations and backed her up properly. He was clear to her about his feelings this time and GOD DID HE MEVER GIVE UP. He even respected her choice to move on with someone else and behaved with her accordingly. He never man handled her or cheated on her like those macho mls🙄. He is a modified green flag y'all🤗👍 She is also incredibly kind and grateful to their family and was always clear about what she wanted. The way they never gave up on each other and work to mend their bond is cool. Both the actors did a great job. Glad that she is frnds with mom and sis in law though😁 Overall.. Well done guys 💜 Love wins❤❤

This is a very nice “After the Divorce, My Ex-husband Couldn’t Let Go”-story with good actors and a sweet and touching storyline. Sadly, there are some editing errors (scenes in wrong order and a few jumps) but none that ruin anything. I loved this strong/adamant/capable/loyal FL and repentant/loving/nice ML who did his best to redeem himself. Although the story is quite sad at times, it is also heartwarming. Definitely worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is in a marriage she was kind of forced into due to saving her husband (ML), a wealthy heir, in a drugging incident. Since FL was an intern at the family business and valued by his grandfather, a marriage was arranged. At the same time, the grandfather secretly gave FL the task of finding and exposing the insiders, intending to harm the business. Not able to make ML love her, FL is now reduced to being a “fixer” whenever he is involved in scandal. He on the other hand feels trapped in a marriage with a woman he thinks is responsible for the drugging 5 years earlier. One night, it’s a young actress. FL dresses up as her, so the press/paparazzis only finds her and her husband when they arrive at the hotel room. Since he doesn’t explain to her that the actress was actually there for his brother (as in all the other scandals before), she thinks he must be having an affair, resulting in yet another misunderstanding between the two of them. Since the grandfather has already passed away and she has succeeded in solving the problems in the family business, FL decides to divorce ML. Not knowing ML is investigating the Shen family for the drugging incident, FL finds her decision to make even more sense when ML brings the Shen family’s daughter - the woman who hates FL for ruining her chance to marry ML - into the company. So, FL silently ends her work, resigns, informs the family, returns all the gifts she received during the marriage, transfers the shares his grandfather gave her to ML, leaves the divorce papers on his desk and moves out. But things get complicated when ML finds out that all the bad things he once thought FL did, is nowhere near the truth and that he might not be as indifferent towards her as he once thought. Well, this has a happy ending.

Amei demais esse drama.❤❤❤ Os dois tiveram motivos para o casamento chegar a esse ponto. Ela por gratidão e ele por ter um casamento arranjado pelo avô. Só que ela conseguiu demonstrar o seu carinho,cuidado e amor por ele ; até q cansou de ser magoada. Aí a chave virou,a vdd veio a tona e ele percebeu que perdeu uma grande mulher e se redimiu indo a luta para resgatar esse amor e deu tudo certo.❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏 .

Another "knife of forgiveness drama", the only difference from others is it's beautifully shot and the actors are very good. The FL spends a total of 8 years with the ML/husband, where he ignores her and disrespects her, then at the end of the drama, he kneels on one knee and confesses that in the last 2 months & 3 days he fell in love with her and proposes. She accepts and they live happily ever after. The end. This story line is such BS and she's a very weak character and a doormat for taking him back in the end after the way he treated her for 8 years. His profession of love is as cheap as grass. This type of drama encourages women to stay in emotionally abusive relationships by glamorizing it and making them believe the man will change so the women should stay. A better ending would have been for her to grow a backbone, become a strong woman and tell him to go pound sand and walk away with her head held high and not look back.

i actually know someone who went through a knife of forgiveness scene. she was not present but when her soon to be ex kneeled and cried in front of her older sister and mother. and he even dragged their 5 year old daughter ! i can just imagine a very young person telling her dad, am sorry mom had moved on and so should you. her mom and older sister stressed her out at those time coz they were wanting her to go back for "complete " fam bs. she told them thanks but since they are not the one living with him. No.

thank you... at least one person who gives it as it is.. time Is to precious to waste of thees short videos that demean woman all the time and show weakness in a woman, like you said conditioning woman to take abuse as love and accept it.. 8 yrs is not a short time. if he can cheat on you so many this for that long you thing he will change over night....lol..... all this " they developed together and he got down on his knees to propose" comments realy erk me... totally missing the point!!! people dont change over night!! thanks once again.
