Demonetization was presented as mater stroke Onoe is also being presented as masterstroke Demonetization failed because 99% of currency came back so the purpose for which it was made(to remove black money) wasn't achieved and hence it was a failure Onoe will also fail to achieve it's purpose like demonetization of reducing expenditure for election by reducing number of elections ( that is because in many states there will be hung assembly because of which again election will have to be conducted and even by chance if majority government is formed it will not focus on development by giving the excuse that "oh, we didn't get 5 full year term and proper development cannot be done in expired term hence until and unless we get a full 5 year term we will not be implementing our promises" Demonetization had graving impacts on our economy because of which unemployment increased and people caused problems Onoe will have graving impacts on our Democracy and constitution because local issues will not be given much importance (just look at states who had their election simultaneously with lok sabha, in every state the state government belongs to the party which also won majority of MPs like in Orrisa, Andhra, Sikkim and Mizoram)

Every country amends their constitution, given the need of their society and its evolving electorate. Changing values with time also plays a role. Both correction and amended are applicable if we are to make space for ideas wrongly input or changes needed, respectively. Having said that, amending the constitution because its "cheaper to run election" isn't really a sound argument! Its not some textbook rentals which can be changed just because other cheaper forms are available.
