For key frames, you have to put two keyframes. Put your timeline on the first key frame and adjust you picture to how far in/out and angle you want it. Then put your timeline on the next key frame and adjust the picture to how you want it. Then it will automatically move the picture in between the key frames.

As a CapCut editor, the keyframes have a purpose their just hard to figure out what to do with. You can use key frames for a fade out/in or a zoom out/in. The key frame button is used to animate, you can zoom in the picture/video and add a key frame the video will zoom into that picture/video.
