Very good and interesting plugin, but I have a question, can this be applied to separate or composite images, such as those that can be seen in a PSD or AI file? I want to make an animated image and I am separating everything by layers in Adobe Illustrator, is it possible to put the layers in negative to apply this effect?

Hello. This effect is suitable for application to a single image. Or, if the layers are separated, you should pre-compose them together to make one image and output the depth, and the image should not have alpha. A good depth map in the final image will make the effect perfect.

If depth was created with the depth scanner plugin, re-import the generated map after rendering to apply the effect. Depth scanner plugin runs slowly at 4K.

I don't know when, but they say they will release an independent license for future plug-ins.
