Been trying to get into AE. I find most of the tutorials I've come across are very fast moving and pretty much assume that the viewer already has a decent grasp of the basics. This is one of the first that has a good pace and explains well. Thanks.

I like the way you explain, very clear and direct to the point.

I've been really intimidated by AE for a long time. I've been using templates but I didn't understand what was really going on. Your vids do a great job of concisely explaining really simple animations. Thanks for doing these.

Justin, I am a Creative Cloud neophyte. I want to say that your video was much better then what Adobe offered in their tutorials. It took me some time to get my desktop matched up to yours, but the results! OMG! I love it. A great tutorial. I would love to send you a copy so you can look at what I did with your expertise. Thanks so very much! Great video. Oh yeah 10 sec took about 3 hours LOL I guess that is the going rate.

IMO, start off with premiere then try learning After Effects I felt the same as you 6 ish months ago now I'm fluent in Vegas, Premiere, After Effects, and Cinema4D. Justin has more than enough to get you started. Once you learn the basics you can learn a lot from there on your own.

render in sequences, use a patch that will enable mpre than one thread of your cpu and look your cpu usage go up to 100%.. Youy will gain the 1/4 of the total time of your simple render
