i dont get the same pink layer when you applied the roto brush any idea why? would this work process work on a anime clip aswell?

whenever i remove the roto brush from the bottom layer it also removes it from the top layer, how do i only remove it from the bottom?

that's a bit weird, may I ask which after effects version you are using? maybe try after effects 2022 or 2023. those versions have rotobrush 2.0

pre compose the text layer and then add a solid apply the saber effect to that solid and, set your text as the saber layer in the saber effect menu :D go to main composition and you will see :)

this probably happens if you are close after effects and then open and try to export. Freeze it using that freeze switch in the rotobrush pannel. This will save up your roto work and, then try to export it.

Hi sorry about the delayed reply. To access the Roto Brush line that you created , you'll need to go to the Effect Control panel and select the "Rotobrush and Refine Edge" effect. This will display the Roto Brush line once again, allowing you to continue refining your selection. Hope that helps!

Hi there, after you finish your roto brush use that Freeze option in the layer panel, It will save up your roto work, if you have a slow computer, this will take a little more time to calculate :)
