amazing! can I make the ice chunks way bigger in a simple way? ( dealing with 4k x 4k here.. )
@GoatmanArts8 жыл бұрын
My only suggestion would be to scale it up, not 100% how much detail would be retained.

How come I follow step by step and it looks nothing like yours? Only difference is that I don't have Fast blur.

Amazing tutorial! Say, if I want to use this ice as a border, what would you suggest I do? So basically i need the center of the ice effect to be blank...

So I actually did exactly that in a different project, luckily its nice and easy to do. The first thing you need to do Is create the full screen version of this, then render it off or pre-comp it (Cmd/control>shift>C to pre comp) I recommend rendering it off though, once this is done import it back in to after effect and add a oval mask to the footage (Shortcut Q) then give it a generous feather (Select the layer and press F) somewhere around 200-300 should do. That should give you the effect you are after, let me know how things go :)

Go to the bottom left of your timeline In after effects, then you want to click the circle and square to expanse the transfer controls, or press F4

hey I'm very new to after fx and just trying to learn it.. I'm wondering if I could put the effect over top of some moving 3d tracked text... The text reads cold hearted and I want to make it freeze over for a dramatic effect. Thanks
@kevinpeng18947 жыл бұрын
How do you apply this to only a person? I want to freeze a person in after effects. Thanks

I dont have TrikMat :/ ?
@GoatmanArts7 жыл бұрын
Hi so there's a chance you have it hidden, on the timeline panel look at the bottom left corner, there should be three little symbols the second one of them, a circle and a square, should add trkmat to you timeline panel
