A charming drama with a fl actress who beautifully conveys pathos on her face and a ml whose emotions are all in his eyes. ML was a shit to her in the beginning, but he voluntarily went through hell to get her back. The gifts he gave her were so thoughtful. He really got her and showed it. One of the best aspects was her relationship with her in-laws and how caring and protective they were towards her.

Although I dislike that FL and ML got back together , I really liked the way the in laws dealt with FL. They really loved her and for once it was really refreshing to see that the mother in law slapped the ML on behalf of her daughter in law(FL). Even saying that FL would be better off with somebody else.

I agree. He was indifferent and cold (he is practically an iceberg towards everyone 😂) but she never explained what happened and she was also distant (I don’t blame her for that, just stating the facts). Also correct me if I am wrong but he never cheated or abuse her AND his family is adorable 🥰🥰. In general it was a mild drama. I would forgive him too 😌 (while in general I wish most MLs to be buried in moldy holes with curses and onions 😏)

One of a very few C-dramas that l enjoyed watching the entire time. The leading actors were very good in their perspective roles and their chemistry was palpable at times. The way he looked at her but couldn't speak...l will wager a lot of us have been exactly in that spot, wanting to speak, but unable to or unwilling to take the risk...the coldness between them was it's own character and to see it dissolve in the struggle to the resolution was great to watch. I didn't know why I kept rewatching this drama. It dawned on me that it was because of Ben Wang's acting. He's a good actor but his acting here is top notch. He displayed three different emotions perfectly - revenge/anger, regret/sadness and finally happiness - his expressions were perfect.

This drama is not a waste of time to watch. This is a good drama, there's an ending and English translation although sometimes there's a problem on the translation or subtitle like instead of " she" they used "he" in referring a girl and there's more ,I think it's the translator's fault or mistake, it's always happened in any of their drama.

Não é assim. Há os exageros. 5 anos de indiferença e solidão. O primeiro encontro dos 2 mostra que ele era receptivo com ela. O abraço no hotel para enganar os repórteres mostra que ele se emociona com o toque dela. Ele diz aos amigos que se sentia usado. Ela tinha tanto ou mais poder que ele na empresa. O avô deu. Sim poderia ter havido diálogo. Ele preferiu crer na sua própria historia de cara usado. Ela que fazia para protegê-lo, vestiu uma máscara de indiferença para sobreviver. Sim ela sofreu, mas era respeitada no trabalho por suas competências e respeitada pela família dele por seu caráter. Talvez devido a sua lógica de obrigação com o avô dele tenha a protegido mentalmente. Não amar. Assim ela decidiu. E seu caminho é claro. Afinal ela foi uma criança perpetrada e sobreviveu. Ela tinha força interior. Ok talvez o melhor pra ela fosse outro homem fora do círculo dessa família. Mas considerando esses roteiros de divórcio esse é o mais sólido e decente. E dentre os ex maridos ele é seguramente o mais sincero e humilde em buscar perdão. O ator está perfeito. Seu dor é seu amor são convincentes.

I think they should've made it less than 5 yrs so it was more reasonable for her to go back to him....5 years of neglect and bullying is a bit much.....Even though he didn't know the real story, and it was her fault for not telling him that's a bit long to put up with that then get back together with him after he says sorry few times...I also feel like these two didn't have great chemistry and were a bit awkward with each other.. I still enjoyed it though.

Basically FL never wanted to part with him and she let the door open. All the ML needed to do was to show up with his sad wooden face like he is shouldering the misery of the world on his back and sneak his way on her good side. Writers did not even gave her a proper alternative. Craps.

Ok this drama is 2 1/2 hours long. I watched up to the hour and 45 min mark and decided enough.. This was one of the most drawn out pointless dramas. There were a few nice things about this drama...1 . no real physical abuse from the ML, 2.the mother in law and sister in law were good to the FL over the ML. 3 the wanna be mistress was a never gonna be mistress. But those don't really make up for this being so bland and boring! At this point I don't care if they get back together, and truthfully they never really got that far apart! So watch if you want, I can't anymore.

Ela trabalhou duro para pagar uma dívida de gratidão e fez tudo pela empresa. Para suportar tudo isso Ela se blindou com indiferença e planejou sua liberdade. E o deixou assim que a ex namorada voltou, sem despedidas caóticas ou alardes. Assim, considerando o ridículo que são esses roteiros de minidramas, Ela se revelou a protagonista mais forte e inteligente. A atriz é boa e transmite exatamente isso. Quando tem que se emocionar se emociona Ele sim era um idiota que esperou 5 anos para se informar sobre os óbvios. Ele a humilhou, apesar de nunca ter lhe esfregando papéis de divórcio na cara. Repito Ela é a melhor protagonista das várias versões desse roteiro. Essa versão é mais civilizada E ele o ML, apesar de canalha omisso também é melhor que os outros. Mas, o segundo protagonista masculino é melhor que ele e mais bonito. Ela pisou na bola no final.
