The UPA government made amendments the rules in favour of Wakaf board because of vote bank politics especially tbe Congress . In 1921the British government introduced HR CE act for the protection temples and it's properties and Wakaf board for the protection of mosques and it's properties,the state governments changed HR CE act into Devaswam Boards and the temples land limited to 15 acre and excess land made as state revenue lands at the same time no changes made in Wakaf board instead freed from government control.

Why in a secular state religious based property rights which override the legislations and law of land exist? Better abolish all such boards, irrespective of religion State should not involve in the religious affairs. Waste of time and energy. It should be normal just like in China. How can we develop if we waste our precious time, energies and limited resources on culture things, it should come without cost. We are too poor for all this religious things. Better to invest in more ITI, polytechnic schools train all people in useful trades, technical education like China and better limit this religious things indoors. I stopped going to temples long back. Now whenever find time get involved in services at old age homes, voluntary work and using my limited savings in giving small traders, elderly, poor school kids instead of investing in the temple hundi. i am not worried about after life anymore, now. Sorry it's my own decision not generalizing. I know I am paying taxes and there's no point in putting more in hundi which goes again to the treasury only to go swindled. Sorry only my opinion. I am peaceful now than earlier, when I was going to temples. Sorry again nothing against going to temples.
