There is an essence albeit small one. Could become better with some creative ideas and lots of story-line work. (1) Who was responsible for her suit malfunctioning ? (1a) Ryan is no mere Mr. FIX-IT; he is a deeeeep level clandestine/covert operative who is trying to disappear from shadowy life as a TECHNO-SPOOK. She knew who he was that is who she showed up at his workshop door. (2) What tech from the dark-suited attackers could the station harvest? (3) Serenity is wearing z sandwich of TWO suits inductively coupled to each other. (3) Ryan works with Sarenia to take ideas from her suits and transmogrify the tech therein to produce defensive systems for the whole station. (4) The station's AI is melded/fused with Sarenia's suit AI . The resulting Hybrid allows both Sarenia and Stayion AI to act as one. This includes all station subsystems, 'drones and 'bots. (5) This hybridization vastly extends the various sensor arrays to all them all to sense attackers at greater distances. Oooohh ! Lots of other scifideas possible in this storyline 😵‍💫

I thought I was getting used to the "oddities" in how the AI readers misspronounce some words but I cringed every time with the taged part of sabotaged being pronounced as taged in staged because there was so many times 😣 EDIT: Apart from that oddity with sabotage, the text seemed to be very well formatted so the AI reader could convey most of it very well and nearly could have passed as a real reader.

How is it that a maintenance technician can give orders to the entire station security force? And station defenses would not be powered solely by an auxiliary power source. This story isn't a story in any real sense. It's just a bunch of words thrown together more or less at random to make it appear to be a story. Like, the attacking ship had already docked and its soldiers had entered the docking bay. There was no "course" for Ryan and the tractor beam to pull them off. And then the story just STOPS! There's no ending, no conclusion. It just ... STOPS!

Really crappy AI narrator. Mispronounces the same words that most AI narrators mispronounce, plus it can't seem to pronounce simple words like charred, or espionage, or sabotage.
