Not bad. First, capture the ambient sound so you can eliminate it in post for a cleaner final. Having no dialogue might even be fine so it can just be silent with added sounds later. Second: end it right after the spook, cut the squishy noises and distorted vocal fry sounds. You had it and went too far. Simplicity is the key to a good short horror experience.
