My take is that the MC is stuck in some paranormal time-loop, one that actually keeps her spirit trapped after her death. The ghost(s) are different temporal incarnations of her and are all trying either to communicate with her or escape the loop. Perhaps she even spends years in the loop, and ages significantly there. She shoves herself over the ledge at the end in a futile attempt to break the cycle.

I'm sure I've seen this before somewhere on YT - it is, quite simply, a brilliantly creepy, tense film. Takes quite a bit to pull a jump scare on me, too, but this managed it with embarrassing ease. More please! 👍👍👍

The way the creature slide up and then stood reminded me of Ringu and other Japanese horror films. Great pacing, kept the fear factor going.

@@shoshiwas Agreed originals are always better - Hollywood usually does a nice job of butchering the soul of the film. I thought Ring was really good until I saw the original and was blown away by the sheer brilliance of it. Same goes for Dark Water which was a lousy remake of the original

Well shot, and well acted, but this story... even tests a horror fan's forgiveness. The number of dumb decisions, illogical actions, and ghost just messing with you, is over the top. Beyond Evil Dead 2 limits.

I hope you realise that ghost cannot open doors they walk through it and they can't touch door knobs to open because their ghosts . If you have not seen one in real life you won't know but I have so ghosts cannot open things they just walk through things.
