Rickey, you can continue to carry the torch in your family. You're the patriarch now. Carry the traditions that have helped so many children in your life without parental guidance. Continue living! That's the best way to memorialize and honor your loved ones. Practice some self care..right now. Write your feelings out in a journal. Find a therapist if necessary. There's no schedule for grief ..do what you have to do for you. Nobody else. I commend you for being so transparent. It's beautiful to see in a Black man. I am sending my deepest condolences 🙏

Well I was the same way until my oldest brother passed and my mother was taking it so well so I ask her mama are you doing ok she answered yes baby don't forget he was God's child first and God just called him home so we have to remember all the goods times God gave us with him.
