Great job on laying them back, but I'll say it again, those stacks are made of such heavy guage steel you can afford to delete the headache rack completely and build a custom one between the two uprights for a much cleaner look without comprising the strength and protection.

Don't forget you have to lift that bed too. So the fix would have to include the stacks being out of the way at any angle so you can raise the bed.
@everestyeti Жыл бұрын
What a real shame the 1st set of stacks didn't work, me I would have cut out the bed only because I'm lazy. The final set look brilliant, going to look really cool once they're up and painted. Off course you do know that by the time you've finished doing these repairs, your going to have to get Bubba Dump resprayed, you could have it painted two tone, green and yellow. Nice of Matt and Jerry to turn up, don't forget you also removed the rifle holder for Jerry as well. 👍🤗

@billbyrnes9505 Жыл бұрын
Like a brand new Corvette, put them both, in the center. Just a little more height would work, IF, you have room after loading on the trailer? You don't want to over 13' 6" on the trailer. You can always weld a diversion plate over the top from the welded wire to the exhaust pipe.

@Woodpurposed Mechanic Yes, it would be probably be easier for two round stacks..... But the custom square tube systems are unique to Derby !!! 😎

Mikey… perhaps next time you can just build the exhaust out of old parts from Transformer Action Figures. Then you can put a button in the cab that will fold the stacks out of the way! With Jerry and NYA showing up to bless the design… MBTS has one more layer of insulation from accepting the blame for any mistakes. Niice!
