I really enjoy your channel. It provides a relief from the normal day to day life of most people. I too enjoy filming and editing and find the hardest part of the process is worthwhile content. A lot of filming goes into 5 minutes of a worthwhile post …….. but people seem to be their own biggest critic. The negativity is best ignored, and let other people judge their behaviour ( although I guess if it is not hidden then an online commentary war could break out). Please…I encourage you to keep going and keep your enthusiasm alive and well. The best part of the process is the anticipation that your next video will be your best work! I guess it all depends whether you view your channel as work or as part of your life and as you say “ love what you do”. As an outsider and listening to your stories there are endless creative ideas should it be your desire. Writing your memoirs, a full blown well produced “movie” , etc etc. Limited only by time and energy. So, for me, I see your channel as part of my daily therapy, and I wish you well in a committed creative and informative future where everyone can be on board with you. It's nice to see you return to Padang Bai. I like your laid back way of interacting with the locals, your Bahasa level is about the same as mine. This time when I returned to Bali, I came directly to Padang Bai. After years of living in Ubud running an export business, and only going to Padang bai for the weekend, I would always go to the White sand beach to relax, snorkel, and kick back. The beaches name is Beas Tugal, for tour information. I arrived in Padang Bai, just as the Corona virus hit. Everyone was panicking and heading back to their home countries, but I decided to stay, and spent the next four years there. I like the simplicity of this Harbor town. Now most of the new tourist stay at Canggu, Uluwatu, Ubud, and come to Padang Bai just to catch the fast boats over to the Gili Islands. They are young and in the party mode, so Padang Bai is too slow for their liking. So enjoy your time there, take it easy. I like your videos, I hope you continue to make them. Keep them easy going, maybe take the time to sit at a Warung, with some tourist and locals and get their feedback on their experience in Bali. 👍🙏

You have a lovely channel here mate, your interactions with the local people are the best part of it. I'm a Pommy who has been living in the Philippines for two years now with my Filipina wife of 23 years. You have inspired me to improve my limited knowledge of Tagalog so I can have better conversations with the people here. It's also interesting to me to see the similarities and differences between Indonesia with the very adjacent Philippines. Ultimately, it's your life and your decision whether to continue with this project but please remember that you have contributed knowledge and understanding of another culture to people you will probably never meet. In my younger days I spent a lot of time in Australia which makes your channel even more appealing.

I think you do a fantastic Job, I am a know it all, but I shut up and listen to your Videos because I learn so much. I have been living here in Koh Samui Thailand since July and although Ive been on youtube since about 2011 I still dont make Videos regularly, maybe every fortnight . Keep up the great work mate, when Im done here in Thailand I may move back to Bali for awhile

@fiascodagama1 Not a fancy cruise but berthing on a supply ship going there, about 15 berths available. They do take paying customers, certainly not cruise ship prices, I have been on the waitlist for 2 years and this year my number came up 😂. It was fun and a tick off the bucket list.
