Oh F off. That’s not a penalty at all, but acting liking it’s soccer/diving is pure stupidity. His head was looking the other way and he ran into the guy. It undoubtedly hurt like hell and caught him off guard. It’s his own fault and it’s not a penalty, but acting like this is a dive means you’ve either never played the game, are entirely ignorant, or both.

I've played long enough to bet big money that Verhaeghe was trying to set a moving pick, meaning he'd step in front of Brazeau to impede the progress, but would try to avoid the contact. Maybe Brazeau skated faster than Verhaeghe was anticipating, but solid contact occurred due to the path Verhaeghe took while the puck was nowhere close, so I was surprised they didn't give him two minutes for interference.
