My current daily drivers are: RAMA U-80 Seq 2 Soya with GMK Serika 2 and Boba U4s, Mode80 navy with alpacas and GMK Hammerhead, Ikki aurora R2 white with 8008 Inks and GMK 80082, Ai03 Vega grey with gateron oil kings and GMK DMG. Really in love with this current rotation. Great mix of clacky and thoccy builds, some more stiff like the RAMA and Mode, while the vega and ikki aurora have a rly soft bottom out and plenty of flex.

I love my GMMK pro. It was my first build and the one I put the most work into. I wouldn't really suggest it to people because it does take a lot of modding to get it to sound good but once you replace almost everything you'll have the confidence to go on to bigger and better things

So far my daily (the only keyboard that I have at this minute) is a GK61 with gateron optical yellows. I am at a young age and I didn't have much experience so I watched a few videos and found that the GK61 was good for FPS gaming as I also wanted to start trying to play on keyboard and mouse as I have been playing on controller my whole gaming life. I dont really have the resources to mod it so I am trying to get some foam (we somehow don't have any in my house) to try and foam mod it. Also there is a lot of ping so when I get the confidence I will try and sort out the stabilisers. Watching your vids now has inspired me to try and create a custom keyboard so hopefully within the next few months I will be able to have enough money to create a custom keyboard. If you have read through all of this I am trying to go for a creamy sound and was wandering if anyone has any suggestions? If not thanks for your time and I hope you enjoyed my essay of a story. :)

@simplymahbi22512 жыл бұрын
what are ur thoughts on the 5075S ? wanna know ur user experience 1. How's build quality for the price ? 2. Does the gasket mount make it softer to type or more bouncier ? 3. What about the modding potential of the board ?
@arieljimenez67852 жыл бұрын
@@simplymahbi2251 I have used the RK71 for a few months, and when I got the 5075s the build quality is just totally different. It is also made from plastic, but the plastic quality is better. It also does have some weight to it. The stabs are good, the keycaps and CS Wine Red switches are more better than RK. There is no flex or bounciness for this keyboard. I have not tried to open the keyboard to replace the aluminum plate, coz opening the keyb means voiding the 12 months warranty. This is one of those keybs that the frame clips to the bottom part, and I don't want to accidentally damage it. Out of the box the typing experience is awesome.

I'm definitely on that RK train, I daily my RK87 with Akko Cherry profile keycaps and Akko Starfish switches. I custom painted the RK bezel with a semi-metallic grey to go with the red and two-tone grey keycaps... sounds thoccy and has just the nice feel of the extended double spring on the switches. My work keyboard (must have keypad) is an old Motospeed 104 that I modded with Klimamat and Glorious pudding keycaps. I will probably desolder and swap those switches in the future. For my gaming setup, Ducky One 3 Mini, with Gateron Speed Silver switches and stock Daybreak keycaps. It's also got car audio mat in it... so it's super quiet actually even though it uses a standard linear. I'm currently building an RK100 Pro to replace my old Motospeed. Gateron Red lubed and filmed.
