She ruined things for herself because she was greedy and vain even before the emperor showed up. She had Linyunche give her money to bribe her manager maid without thinking to pay him back. Then she immediately forgot about him as soon as she saw the emperor. When she miscalculated and was sent to deal with flowers, she acted pitiful and like a victim to get Linyunche to come back to her. Then when she had the chance to leave the palace and live with him, she chose not to. Even though she chose to emperor over Linyunche, she still expects Linyunche to never move on from her, expected him never to be happy without her. I hope Linyunche would find happiness without this selfish, greedy woman.
