That's the strangest part ... I have read comments here saying that she was strong 😮.. and I wondered if we watched the same drama!! And there are some viewers who seriously need some professional help like since when getting chained by the leg in a room = good chemistry , my favourite couple 🥲( I saw this scenario in one other drama LMAO) . At first I watched this for *Yao guanyu* but this came up to be my least fav one of his works . this FL was literally the most desperate character I’ve ever came across 🙏🏻. At one point, moment I thought she would have some character development for good but no everytime she confronted ML she turned up glossy eyed with shaking voice that just seems pathetic and nothing else😗.

The mother seems like the bad guy but nope... nothing about her at the end. I swear the only time I saw the FL smile in this drama was with the SML. Its sad that such a good drama with good actors ends up siding with a selfish mama's boy. There was so many ways he could have dealt with the tragedy but he chose the way that cost his girlfriend everything and cost him nothing. In the end he still got to date her, still got to have his mother dearest, still got the family money and she, the biggest victim, lost her identity and self respect, forced to be a lover to a man with a finance that made her miserable.

I could understand ML because he doesn't have control over the company and if he just left with FL, his mother could hire someone to hurt FL with her power and money and if he didn't have money or power he couldn't protect FL's life against his own family, but the thing is, given the way ML's mother acted he absolutely shouldn't act so ok with her, he should hate her guts but that doesn't happen, he wants to have the best of both worlds, his mother, FL, and the power of the company, and in all this, FL is the only one to sacrifice in the equation. He manipulated her memory Changed her face Put her in danger by making her stay in his life And he didn't revenge her lost baby, it was his mother who killed their child, he had no power? Ok so why he is not even mad at his mother? This ruined all his excuses, what he did to her on a psychological and medical level is criminal, he did all of that without her consent!

I so wish that the 2nd ML will get a role of a ML. ❤ As for this story... I think this is the 4th story of this "canary/secretary" combination FL.. the only one I have found tolerable and watched fully is Wang Kaimu/Cai Cai Jun version.. in that at least the FL was not selling herself for her mother's treatment... even though she was pathetic enough initially. I also wish makers even if they make copies can come up with stories without insane greenteas who are ready to kidnap and K!ll at the drop of a hat... and the ending with stabbing/coma.. but then the MLs character was so bad that there was no possible way of redemption without the knife 😑 The ML is an eye candy who acts very well but I absolutely disliked his character in the drama. For all his domineering CEO act he was a mama's boy and the mama was evil. The FL was beautiful.. I won't call her smart as I don't think she made a smart choice in the end.. but I suppose their fans would enjoy the undeniable chemistry between the CP 😊

OMG! And you call this love. The ml mom was terrible to the end. The engaged mistress was scheming to the end. The ml erased the painful memories caused by him and his mother, caused 2 miscarriage or forced abortion due to his mother and the mistress and was already engaged to the mistress that his mother liked and chose for him. Yes, he tried his own way to protect the fl but it was too scheming and callous. And he says that he love her. Yes, the Drama says that he was a filial son but if he wanted to be filial, he should have let the fl go and not cause her that much suffering. He was an animal in the garb of a lovelorn human. The fl was no better. She was weak from the beginning till the end, a doormat or a licking dog. No self esteem at all. I deslike her the most because after knowing everything, she humbly returned to the ml. So disgusting. 😬😬😬
