I KEEP saying this but the OGs need to be Quasi-Casting Directors by now,particularly Bethenny and Nene. They know the type of girls who can survive in this atmosphere and the aesthetic needed to sustain a position on the show. To me,Bethenny’s only downfall as a HW is that she can be “too real” sometimes. To be great on these shows,you need a level of delusion and lack just a tad bit of self awareness. I think Bethenny knows the right women in NYC. Nene knows the right women in Atlanta,Kyle in Beverly Hills,Teresa in New Jersey. Let them pick the new batch of wives and transition off camera.

I think the issue was that she was denying she was w Scott. Dorinda and John also hung w Tinsley and Scott when they got together the 1st time and she felt that Scott was emotionally abusive and didn't like him for Tinsley which is why when she and scott got back together, Tinsley hid it from them. A little more context then the editors cared to show... but they had a real friendship and I think dorinda- even though she was overbearing- was hurt because its like that friend that acts differently towards you when they have a man... i think she went really hard on Tinsley because of that...it was very harsh at times, but I also understand both sides.

The long distance thing she’d said was an issue for him too, so for the fact that the relationship was a bit stop start, I don’t blame her for not bringing much of it to the show. Obviously Scott also didn’t want to be on the show and let’s be real, can you blame him? What accomplished guy who’s not a tv thirst trap wants to be a reality tv husband? Lol! Bethenny definitely had a hard on for tinsley. I feel that tinsley triggers bethenny because she saw her as the stereotypical rich kid and bethenny just decided she wasn’t going to give her any respect on account of it. Bethenny I think has a bit of a chip on her shoulder from growing up around rich people but never really being one of them due to the fact that her own rich father left she and her mom early on. So now that she’s successful she resents people like that who she sees as kept and entitled. That’s the genesis of her disdain for tinsley and why she always was so eager to put her down or minimise her by questioning her wealth, scoffing at the idea that she had a trust fund and poo pooing it, and also suggesting that Scott was paying for her lifestyle. It’s a combination of jealousy and disdain and I don’t respect Bethenny for it. She’s a well accomplished woman, she needs to lay down that massive boulder on her shoulder and let other people be who they are. The truth is that tinsley’s net worth is higher than Scott’s, so these women that were constantly trying to make her out to be some kept woman couldn’t be further out of line.
