Exactly!! I think still, even for Sandavol (who I consider a progressive man) I feel like he thinks Arianna "might come around", and for everyone else they think "she's just not ready YET". I had no interest in babies or marriage and I'm perfectly happy without either. Well, marriage I can take or leave honestly ~shrug~ but babies were a definite NO!! always. For as far as we've come, women are still very much expected to want these things and there is something wrong with the WOMAN if she doesn't want them, in the view of society. And of course, it is completely acceptable for a man to do the same, and considered very 'manly' to "not be tied down".

If I were their age and in their place, I would be too selfish to make a good parent, and they know that. People like Jax SHOULD not have children. If they do, Britt will be the one staying at home, giving parenting her all while Jax goes out partying, screwing around and only loving his children conditionally - only IF they 'represent' him in a good light.

Arianna knows, KNOWS, that she doesn't want kids. As a person who never wanted kids myself, I can tell you that it isn't about selfishness or immaturity, it's not something that people should expect "oh, she'll change her mind as she gets older/more mature". No. She doesn't want kids. Period. That's the end. There is no "later" it will change. She doesn't want them. She probably knew when she was a very young child she had no interest in children, just as I did.
