Ceramic bearings are only really advantageous in very specific situations. They get advertised as some sort of miracle cure for all bearing woes but in reality they are inferior to steel bearings and a lot of ways. I would just get some high quality standard sealed bearings and lubricate them with a thin oil.

@Do RC I agree with you on the ceramic bearings and that's exactly what I did with the steel bearing for the rebuild. Thanks for sharing, much appreciated!

@James Bacon I have the car completely apart and hopefully this weekend I can start the build and upload a video. Thx for the support, much appreciated!

The only problem I can see using the longer set screw from the spool is you'll weaken the shaft if you drill through it as there won't be to much of the shaft either side of the drilled hole

@Andrew Whiting - I took the diff lockers apart and checked the measurements, you are 100% correct, so I only made an indentation. I will clarify on my next Infraction video. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your knowledge, much appreciated!

Are you using the stock dogbones? I know on my limitless they are prone to bending/warping during high speeds and cause tons of extra vibration.
@RCPASS13 жыл бұрын
@LaidOffGamer - I'm using flopack Spool and Dogbones. Limitless, infraction, felony, they are well known for that problem, not even the center support helps. Thanks for sharing and watching the video!
