Yes its a crappy movie but I often wonder if people who hate these kinds of movies also hate movies with serial killers, horror films or anything of the sort because I frankly don't see the difference. These movies are meant to trigger women meanwhile movies with endless violence involving men are ok. Personally i don't like either but id be lying if I said I don't notice the double standard. if you don't like these movies then logically you should not like any movie with any type of violence. Just saying.

Where do you see wives choking their husbands, allowing a side piece and others to bully them? It's not in these dramas. You might see men bullying or beating another male, but you are not seeing wives abusing their husbands, but you are damned sure seeing husbands abusing their wives. There is no double standard to complain about. Logically, people have their facts straight before spouting off about double standards and they know the difference between domestic violence and just violence. I'm going to defend the ML character here, because comparing other dramas with toxic stories, this one here is far behind when it comes to brutality. I've watched a lot of it and I really have a comparison, and to argue here I would have to spoil the whole series, and what for? I think that FL's friend turned out to be a worse jerk [because she didn't promise him anything all this time, he was always a brother/friend to him. I am blown away by SFL and how she jumped into bed with literally every male character [except ML]
