What a great fucking show man. RIP Justin but also. Attention please. Give mad respect for ATB. I know it will never be easy to carry the band onwards after Justin passed away,Justin had a special talent and knack for certain musical bouncey and punchy rhythms. But Trent, Dan & Anthony have sure done a hell of a job at keeping ATB going. I know it's been painful and it still hurts. Just know that you are all being noticed. Fans know how difficult this has been. It hurt us all, and you're not alone. You're our champions 🏆 and never forget that.

Hunter Isaac Yep. In ATB the bass is really a third guitar, it is even tuned in the same octave since they used 8 strings tuned to C, not the typically "drop c", but an octave lower. It creates a really cool sound IMO, the guitars have like no bass to them so the low tunings will be audible, and the bass just sort of fills that in.

Seriously, whenever I am in the pit and see one of these teenagers begin to "scene" mosh, especially to a band that deserves better i.e After the Burial, I start a real pit by catalyzing the movement with shoving the hell out of them and dropping them to the ground.

Think about people who see hxc dancing as culture. I used to do it all the time, thinking it was accepted at these harder shows, assuming it's just what you do. Until recently, when I'm beginning to learn more and more how it's actually frowned upon. My advice: don't go to a show by TDWP or The Ghost Inside, or any band labeled hardcore because you'll get plowed by those who believe this same nature. All you can do is stand by the pit and bitch, and those who actually have the balls to get into said pit will look down on you as nothing more than someone afraid to get hurt. Although I've observed this as accepted at other shows, Sumerian Records shows are the ones I see people getting shit for it. I see it as a thing of devotion to your band. Many bands actually advocate getting in and flailing your arms.

I hope you are not implying that I am scared to get hurt in a pit. I have been in pits of all sizes and at different venues, from warped to mayhem fest. I have been in pits for bands such as oceano, abiotic, whitechapel, fit for an autopsy, carnifex, unearth and many more like them. Being hurt is the last thing on my mind. Also, I actually just went to a devil wears prada show in San Antonio, where there was little to none of that nonsense going on, oh yeah and TGI was there too! It's funny though, when I see those kids flailing their arms and kicking and crap for one show, and then a band like whitechapel comes on, they can't hack the crowds because there not strong enough to hang in. Either way, metal shows are about having fun and enjoying oneself. So it's whatever
