I did finish it, so hear me out please. I started this because I like the actors, but once again, he literally says call me when she's dead, wants a divorce after she's reborn,and than gets upset when she gives it to him! Take like a minute and a half at the beginning to show he was upset when she died and thought it was some kind of sick joke to get his attention and it would make more sense and I wouldn't be so frustrated when she goes back to him! All of that being said, I LOVE that they have his sister calling him on all his BS and how she has the FL back. I like that the FL doesn't fall back into his arms in what seems like a few days, she makes him work for it and really think about what he's done. Over all, I'm glad I watched it.

After watch many versions, I feel it's more of a powerplay. In the first life, he didn't want to give her his attention and was just blatantly cruel in his rejection. In the second life, he was insulted by her wanting just a divorce and no matrimonial assets. And being of his position, he just assumed the FL was up to no good.

Claps to the person that added to the dialog between the ML and friend that coldness is also domestic violence. I hope that future movies create awareness about domestic violence and empower women to leave abusers. There are a lot of Chinese movies where the FL ends up with the abuser. This convey a wrong message to the audience. Women dont have to bear abuse in the name of love or family pressure. People deserved to be respected and cherished in a marriage.

I've seen this play before, performed by one of the other troupes, and it's really the best of the "scummy CEO husband falls in love with me after I'm reborn" plot lines. The ML is scummy because he's immature and low EQ, not because he's genuinely bad, and he does mature over the course of the play. Even better, the FL is witty and adamant about divorcing and not going back to the scumbag... He's forced to pursue her hopelessly for some time. The scenes with his family are golden for their humor 😂. The ending is more plausible than most, since both the ML and FL come to understand both themselves and each other better. This version is helped by some very natural acting, especially from some of the supporting cast, tho' the green tea sisters were a little over the top...

At the very least, I will not go back to that scumbag. But, I guess this is a man’s fantasy romance, bcuz ain’t no way any sister will go back with those words always haunting her😂

Хорошо съиграли,сняли фильм.Удивляюсь мораль.устоям в семьях,как сводная сестра может хотеть жить с зятем.Какой мразью может быть отец,который это одобряет.Затем,унижая родную дочь,кричит ,что не благодарная дрянь.И относится с ней,как дойной корове,возвышая распутную дочь свой любовницы.Что за традиции в семье???Это просто в голоае не укладывается.Гл.героиня молодец,после катастрофы стала ценит и любить себя.Как только жена бросает мужа,у него просыпается сердце.Он замечает,что она расцвела и талантлива,независема и в центре внимания мужчин.😂😂😂

ML asked for a divorce just to see if FL would agree to it made not one bit of common sense🤬. Never explained why he never wanted to consummate the marriage within the one year time frame. Why he was so cruel and wouldn’t allow her to visit/call him at work🤬 His BIL had it right “cold shoulder” is a form of humiliation next to mentally abusing your wife🤔. FL was only 20 years old what was the rush to get married…from your parents’ home to a man’s home isn’t a good idea for young women, she had money and should’ve gone out to see the world first🤔. The movie is outdated🤔. Everything revolved around the trophy husband🤔. Personally, I wouldn’t have taken back the ML🤮
