This does not have an ending, although the ML does deserve the end it does have. SPOILERS. I don't understand why he was so cold to his wife for 2 years when he clearly liked her. He refused to divorce after he's the one that served her the papers. He was jealous and unreasonable and blamed her for cheating when she was drugged and forced. He didn't know that. He assumed she cheated and made her feel terrible even though he assumed he cheated as well and said nothing. The leads were frustrating to say the least. If they had just had a conversation none of this would've happened. They both assumed they had different people in their hearts when they didn't. In fairness to the FL her husband was clearly involved with his mistress prior to their marriage and ignored his wife for years so she had every reason to assume he didn't care about her. He never really did anything enough to give her any other impression. By the time he realized it was him that she slept with that night it was too late. She'd already left after having an abortion because she didn't know who forced her that night. The end is a flash forward and she has a little girl (she obviously didn't go through with the abortion) and amnesia from a traumatic childbirth. She doesn't remember the ML and doesn't think there's any reason to recall her past. Although this is not a complete ending I am ok with it. The ML deserved to lose everything. The FL doesn't remember the heart ache she endured. She is happy with her child and although I feel bad that she is no longer in touch with the ML's grandpa the FL had no family worth remembering besides him. She is better off with amnesia so I'm satisfied with this ending.

I agree with you. A scumbag like her husband did not deserve her. Although I prefer to see the ML suffering at the end and got rejected by FL, but this ending was ok for me. I would be very mad if she ended up back with the ML. Doesn't matter how remorseful the ML is, that couldn't make up to all the hurt and pain he caused her. I hope he ends up living his life with a huge regret while seeing the FL lives her life happily. As for her daughter, I didn't see the need for her to know what kind of man her dad is. He is simply just a scumbag.

Love this drama.. Eventhough the ending is not a happy one, but I'm actually very glad that she is not getting back with her husband Her husband love her but never believe her till the end, because he was blinded by others It only hurts her more and more while loving him (I'm really crying for her) He finally got his lesson, he really don't deserve his perfect wife (but I don't hate or dislike him, just don't understand why he is easily being fooled by those evil people) So glad that in the end she finally forget all the hurtful things she suffered and living happily with her daughter

That is not the ending. He has a reason why he is hurt. Both of them are guilty of stupid pride. And the guy she is with at this part of the story is abusing her. The full version makes it all clear. In the end, all of the questions posed here are explained fully. This incomplete version doesn't tell the story, and it is an insult to the audience and the actors.

I love this kind of ending!!! Prof Jiang said all true! Just stay what she's now, dont try to remember past things that would make her feel sad, she's all okay with her achievement now. Her husband and her family, all of them is her painful memories that not worth to remember. Tho shen yu an is not the character who hit and abusing his wife but his cold shoulder towards xu xingyao is counted as a domestic violence!! Whose wife who will not think a bad assumption if in her marriage life there is no communication and trust. He treat her just like a pet, the mrs shen she hold is just a title and it also applies equally to his title as husband. Why??? Bcoz she nvr get his warm, his care and his love as what a husband should do for his wife. After he get troubled finding that he had one night stand (with the fake girl), also find out that his wife consume a pregnant pill, he started his messy life. Adding with his wife being accused to kill a patient by mistreat the saving way. He is the one who not trust her and he's also the one who defense her well. What a confused man!!! I think he clearly realized that he love her as he get jealous when other men close to her, he also initiate to hv intimate contact by kiss her in his fully conciousness. His evil little brother had warned him that someone will cherish his wife if he neglected her. He is not only neglected her, but also push her to the abyss indirectly. So when he find the truth is already too late. Too late for him to feel regret and pay his mistake as there is another man who willingly take care of her and her life. He is really not deserve for her and for knowing the existence of his daughter. She deserve a better life with a better man. But too bad, shen grandpa couldnt keep contact with xingyao again.. Shen grandpa, dont blame xingyao, it's shen yu an who failed her and make her disappointed too much.
