There's an entrance to the tunnels through a building at the intersection of San Jacinto St and Lamar St. When I was a teen the 1980s, there was an area of one particular spot that always gave me an uncomfortable feeling irregardless of how many people were around or the activity from the shops down there. There was a restroom near there. Over the years, a lot of renovation and construction has been done in that area, so I don't think that section is accessible to the public anymore. If your location was near there, then its more interesting to me. I still occasionally travel through the tunnels, but in other portions of it. Now, you got me curious and I'm going back to that area to see if I still sense something. Great work with your observations.

It's not open on nights or weekends. We had special access to visit at night through one of Melvin's contacts.
