Freeze your playback at 3.03 exactly. Just look at that, just look. When did this type of pas de deux start to be developed, who were its pioneers, can anyone tell me that? Male muscular mass and female litheness and tensile strength, the body minimally clothed, dance from floor to highest lifts (8.15 onwards!!), sustained intensity, both austere and sensuous. The flow of inventiveness here - that lift at 8.58 onwards. Dance worthy of the celebrated slow music.
