the fact that asriel is waiting for them outside once they close the final fountain, makes the link between him and how ralsei had just vanished moments prior really good. it’s a very intruiging subject to think about.. about how this is all going to fold out in the end and when we hopefully find out why ralsei carries asriel’s appearance.

i have an incredible theory, so you see ralsei is the pink corn that kris used to use to pretend to be a monster, he truly wanted to be like his brother, mother or father a furry goat. But he wanted to be more like asriel ofc bc he is his older brother lol, so ralsei looks like asriel due to the fact that he represent what kris want to look like he was a child

well it's possible it could be more like undertale's ending, where all the surreal shit happens, final boss shows up (gaster hopefully) then after defeating them, things almost "reset" with nobody being able to remember what happened, but the final fountain is sealed. kind of hope it doesn't end up like that though.

Even worse. This would be the "they didn't find her" ending, and thus not the real ending. Kris desperately trying to reopen the fountain because they're still looking for Dess but we (the player) ended things "properly" and now they can't. Let's be honest though, no matter how it ends, we all gonna cry like crazy because that will mean Deltarune ended and there won't be any more :(

I chocked up at 1:10 and started crying the first time I watched it, because I’m so attached to Ralsei and Lancer as characters… I honestly think this is so bittersweet as a concept for Deltarune’s ending. But I’m not really sure if we’ll leave Castle Town behind for good at the end of the story… I feel like there needs to be a balance of Light and Dark, though we still don’t know because Toby Fox hasn’t released the remaining chapters of Deltarune yet… Regardless, you did a great job on this. I like your take, even if it made me cry. It was well-written.

I love how even though Kris is simply looking down, you can still see just how sad they are inside, man... just imagine what the actual ending to Deltarune will be like, it must be something really incredible/tragic for Toby to make an entire game based around it just because of that fever dream he had years ago. (not to mention that the whole reason Undertale even exists is because Toby wanted to see if he was capable of making Deltarune in the first place, and Undertale is already a major tear jerker)

Awww…this is so bittersweet. I love how it ties into the idea that what they’re doing is at least partially based on imagination, based on the “normal” school closet. Even when the final fountain is sealed, it’s masked in such a way that no one besides Kris and Susie will truly know, and I think that’s such a sad but fitting ending for their adventures. Especially when paired with Asriel’s visit at the end there…you’ve outdone yourself with this 😢❤

The Reverse Roaring / Possible Angel's Heaven concern... Would this cause it? Just like you, I have absolutely no idea 💀 We're all basing this off Ralsei's prophecies and the lore drops he makes out of the blue. When darkness overwhelms light. When the balance and equilibrium is shattered. The Roaring ensues. This ending's interpretation puts the Light and Dark dynamic onto a standstill. Stalemate. Think of an hourglass: Light and Dark on their respective sides. The gap and holes between them allow flow and current, which causes Dark and Light to mix. Thus, Dark Fountains. And if the Castle Town (Ralsei's) Fountain is the most pure, then it's sort of the official, *permitted* gateway between both worlds. Kris and Susie sealed the gateway. So the hourglass's midpoint is shut tight. But would this cause a Reverse Roaring? We don't truly know yet if sealing Ralsei's Fountain would encourage this... And just because the joint of the hourglass is permanently sealed... Does that really mean all of Darkness is gone? Maybe not, it's still there even if it's inaccessible now. Dark and Light both remain on their own sides. It's simply that one world can't visit the other anymore. And I figured narratively, having to say good-bye to your party after going through so much seems like a fitting end for the game. But again, that's just this video's interpretation.

One big plot twist: These were actually just dreams kris has been making up to forget about _the truth_ Part 1: kris and the gang used to be a friend group inculding noelle,dess,kris,asriel,susie and berdly.before the _event_ happend, everything was good and fun. KRIS kris was an ordinary child that was probably lost his family at a very young age. The cause of his family loss is unknown. Later then, he was adopted by the dreamurr family. And then kris met asriel which meant almost everything to him. Asriel treated him like a true sibling since he was seeing him as an "second chara".later, one day the two met noelle and dess.which they made pretty good friends with.and later noelle intruduced berdly to the group. The five got pretty close togehter being best friends. (İ might continue this also sorry for bad language errors.)

my own take for this is that, in order to defeat the Titans and restore balance is by sealing all the fountains with our light, with the final one closed (the Catle Town), Kris' SOUL will be free from our control since we accepted it to leave this world behind alongside with the Dark worlds.

The thing about this ending that works even if it is super simple, is how it covers both sides of this. Kris, the character, being sad they have to say goodbye to this world, and their adventure, etc. US, the soul/player, ALSO saying goodbye to Deltarune. The world, the characters.
