I was deeply disappointed with the direction of the drama, as it sends a troubling message about accountability. In particular, the female lead (FL) was repeatedly mistreated, manipulated, and even abused, yet the narrative had her forgive and support her abuser based solely on the fact that the abuser was her mother. This completely disregarded the serious reality that the mother had kidnapped her, subjected her to physical and mental abuse, and violated her trust. The FL did not owe her anything, and it was disheartening to see the story dismiss this crucial point. Additionally, the male lead’s (ML) brother committed multiple crimes, yet the characters kept forgiving him, which only emboldened him further-eventually leading to an attempt on the FL’s life. The story’s portrayal suggests that being upright, honest, and respectful to family and friends makes one a victim or foolish, when in fact it should highlight the strength in standing up for what’s right and setting healthy boundaries. This kind of narrative is concerning, as it undermines important lessons about personal responsibility, self-respect, and the consequences of harmful actions.

Ok for everyone confused it didn't got happy ending it actually got it but the thing is it was age difference. In the last scene on the laptop it was a business plan from the FL lan qi so we can assume that they met again.

I don't understand the last minute of the drama. At first the FL forgiving everyone annoyed me, but then I realized that she knew she was going to return to her own time. She wanted to tie up loose ends and make sure she wasn't leaving behind any trouble for her husband. But then at the end it fast forwards to the future and I was expecting a joyful reunion. Yes, there would be an age gap between them, but that doesn't bother me. Instead the ML is distracted listening to the old recording the FL left for him, and then the last thing we see is a random business plan on the screen of the laptop. No idea what any of it means.

From the start it was heading in the wrong direction. FL marries an ML who is in love with someone else -the original- and doesn’t even recognize that the person has changed or show any concern to the inexplicability of her current character. So I went to the comment section and discovered that this is one of those: Forgiving serpents, getting bitten over and over, and self-enforcing a perpetual state of “victimhood”. If a person is too stupid, the tragedy that befalls them is *earned* by themselves: “/deserved/”. Maybe not under the terms of “justice”, but if she hands out such punishment *to herself*, that is her own matter and what she has “worked hard” for, so: “deserved”. Which viewer would want to waste their time taking such a person’s side? It’s like punishing yourself for their stupidity.
