I once came across a post on Facebook where back in 2017 or 2018, there was this 17-year old guy who was an avid Trump supporter, he was born in the US and he complained a lot about immigrants, yet his parents were visa-overstayers from 🇱🇧 Lebanon. Apparently, one day in 2017 or 2018, some of his online Trump supporter "friends" convinced him to report his parents to ICE because that's what Trump wanted "good Americans" to do, so that's what he did. He reported his parents to ICE, his parents were briefly detained and 2-years later, they were deported back to Lebanon. Now (when I say "now", I actually mean like 2020 or so), after his parents were deported, they went NC with him, stopped financially supporting him, they (he and his sisters) had to move out of their family home which they can't stay in anymore as it was his parents who were paying the rent and now, none of his family or relatives in the States want to have anything to do with him. His two sisters (who were also born in the US) moved in with their boyfriends and also don't want to have anything to do with him as he got their parents deported. Adding to this, other Trump supporters (the same people who encouraged him to report his parents to ICE) aren't willing to help him out either. The guy is now apparently confused and angry that nobody is supporting him, as he keeps trying to convince his family that he did the right thing and he kept saying that he didn't think his parents would actually be deported as he said "I thought Trump was only going to depor the bad ones".

I'm disappointed with the Latino gentleman who updated us from his first post. His first post, although rough, was what the MAGA-voting community NEEDED to hear. His backpedaling was not only unnecessary but lessened his position/point from the first video. This constant need to placate the audience is what got us here in the first place. People not telling Trump to Ef off, and to kiss his ring, or to call him out but then stick their heads up his ass in compliance. NO! Stop doing that. i think someone threatened him, and he was scared. i'm not sure, but his voice was shaking, so i think, someone scared him. if that is the case, i wish that he would have said 'screw you, this is the truth!' but some people can get scared when they face backlash. i believe in standing up to bullies, but it's not always easy.

I am a WW who did NOT vote for trump. I have 2 bi-racial sons in their 40s and they told me some of their dad's side of the family members voted for trump because they are Catholics and are anti-coice regarding abortion. I just dont understand it. I mean, their parents immigrated here. And they did come legally, however so many immigrants are coming to Ameriaca to flee oppression and brutality.
