After work. F.Sor : Theme and variations Op.9

After a day of teaching,inspired by my students,I switched on my mobile and did this video.
Sors variations on a theme from Mozarts opera ’The Magic Flute’ is really a fun piece to play
when you’re a bit tired and your brain is full of music.
I didn’t have my microphone with me so the sound is a bit ’retro’. Like a really old recording,
but that also gives a special atmosphere…
And yes,I know…there is a beautiful introduction in this piece,which I didn’t play this time.

Unearthing the beauty within that piece, which we once found so accessible, transcends everything and is truly exquisite. I see you have personal choices on fingerings your scales, arpeggios and repetitive notes. Maybe you already have some work about that. Please let me know about it, if possible. Thanks a lot 🙏 I guess I’m inspired by lute technique. The thumb is a strong,indipendent and very useful finger so I think I use it more than many other guitarists. I think this is very individual but for me it feels very comfortable.

2-6 Savarez Alliance hard tension and first string Oasis Claro(nylon) hard tension.
