Many thought that the original 1 died, but if you notice it was the 1 clone that died, because the original 1 no longer had a battery in his equipment, so he had no way of creating a shield for the other.

Also, if the Original 1 died, the clone would dissapear and not exist anymore, instead of the cone fading into the gem.

1 detail that I noticed was after One's clone died, his tech hologram does not disappear afterwards, meaning the Multiplication Gems can clone something perfectly as long as the original ones did not die or basically destroyed. It's amazing. Interesting how the Multiplication Machine requires battery to charge up, I wonder what kind of battery One puts in that Tech Hologram thing he has. By the way, once the Tech Hologram reaches 0% it completely disappear out of thin air like it never existed.
