Some guys did the math and Electro + Burn disorders work the best because they have higher attack scaling and when you proc disorder it consumes all damage ticks left. Mihoyo is well aware of this and according to the math of dev server guys one rotation of Yanagi + Burnice deals more damage than what Jane + Burnice deals thanks to Yanagi's kit being more oriented at increasing Disorder burst.

It's gonna be a significant DPS drop of once she's teamed with Yanagi, because again, after burn + double flame thrower rotation doesn't build fire fast enough. And likely in 3-4 rotations, a double proc of the other anomaly will happen.

yanagi will be the perfect pair for burnice solely because yanagi is also a disorder-focused agent (iirc her kit makes her trigger disorder with a 600% multipier and basing from her leaked gameplay, she's an on field anomaly)

nah this video is so cap, many testings where done on her and everything weights in favor of playing her off field, you saying she's a quick swapper it's just bad, she was litteraly made to be an off field pg, from kit to wengine to disks. You can play her on field by playing her as an hyper carry going crit but the playstyle you suggest here it's just plain useless, you lose on everything, more so because you take time away from jane wich wants 95% field time and yanagi from what we know we'll be similar to an electric jane so she too wants on field time. Also if you use pgs like seth who can boost anomaly build up burnice can proc burn with 1 rotation then you just rinse and repeat, do not listen to this video people, it's bad bad.

Jane also increase the speed of OTHER characters anomaly build up. And sure, let's say Yanagi want on field time (no leaks, ty). Unless she have part in her kit that let her get full benefit when overriding her own shock proc with another one, In just 3-4 rotations (using Jane speed as reference) between the two, you will likely get 2 shock back to back. This is the entire problem of just playing her purely with afterburn. The rotation speed will be off very quickly.

One of her main benefits is the disorder procs. The faster you can get it off, the higher the disorder damage, so saying that creating disorder is a damage loss because you are no longer burning is kinda disingenuous. That or you're just not understanding how disorder works and are spreading misinformation

Burnice off-field app is much slower than Jane. If you just keep her off field you will end up triggering more assaults than burns which means less disorders.

Seems like you didn't read or understand any of the testing then. You want her to reapply anomaly with her ex whenever possible, the afterburn serves more to alleviate the amount of time needed to apply subsequent burns rather than something you rely 100% on for anomaly applications. She is a quick swap character, her entire kit works that way, including her signature engine and even the disk set, seeing as it has a lingering effect on the off field buff, precisely for her to quick swap back on field every so often

The moment you bring her up you'll already have the burn proc or you're 1 basic from doing it, so you just ex again and go off. what he's saying to do her lines of combos and only after doing a full rotation of burnice you swap her off wich it's not needed, you lose on a lot of buffs and dmg + you rob time off of the main fielder. Seems like you didn't understand nothing, her whole kit/effects and playsyle is based off of that.

You are correct, after burn does NOT maintain the passive. But with this playstyles most build up are done via the ex special, not after burn.

Don't build crit. Double flame thrower + afterburn not fast enough applying flame. Use single flame thrower + double shotgun (hold ex special than tap) for more anomaly build up with same amount of energy.

Assuming the worst luck you're gonna need around 60-75k currency, with half of that if you win all 50%'s. Limited W-engine is meant to break time records like 40s or less e.g. with Zhu Yuan's signature in Shiyu Defence. Lucky there is no such rewards yet in any event or in game achievement, otherwise people who are completionism will get those limited w-engine

Somewhat useful BUT with your current team you can actually try Nicole as your 3rd slot. you will see a pretty large increase with Jane's Assaults, if the target is inflicted with Nicole's defense shred (it only need to cover when the assault is proced) Try that team first (unless she's tied to Zhuyuan team ofc lol) before making your final decision :D

I prodominately need Burnice since I have neither Koleda or Soldier 11; I already have Jane which is why I'm skipping Ceasar, but seeing that her team comp can also have grace, I already have a team for her when she comes out. Oh I'm specifically saying overriding Shock with Shock, and burning with Burning is a huge issue. RN you can't feel it with grace because grace can't really quickly build shock back to back, but I'm expecting Yanagi (who burnice will probably team with) to have good anomaly build up like Burnice and Jane. And if that's the case afterburn only playstyle won't be able to catch up to the speed of Yanagi, and Yanagi WILL proc shock back to back.

yanagi is capable of trigger disorder on mono electric when she retriggers the anomaly with a 400% dmg increase from*normal* disorder so its insanely good to trigger anomaly fast with her and burnice

This tbh, Like I said Burnice only provide minimal boos to Jane's power, Jane is a hyper carry and for every second she's on field, she deals damage effectively. If we get an S rank support who can cover some different type of multiplier she doesn't have a lot rn, she will boost Jane significantly better than Burnice.

i think hes saying she can be a half in half with another anomaly unit, therefore a lot of quick swapping to proc each others anomaly, where as the current way thats suggested online to use her is as an off fielder who u just use to ignite and then move off field and forget about her and let the other unit do their thing, but doing it that way u'll lose disorder potentials, where as quick swapping her in procking then quick swapping in ur other unit procking on repeat will mean more disorders and presumably more damage, so he's suggesting a much more active playstyle for her which in your case u could use her as a main dps, as long as you're consistently procking another element to maximize damage..

To make it simple, you use Burnice to trigger burn anomaly. After that, you use Piper to trigger assault. BAM! You get disorder(bonus damage). Rinse and repeat. Afterburn is something that help burn proc faster to some degree and a bit of free damage.

I actually think her W-engine is pretty high value compared to her M1. Burnice have a severe lack of damage bonus just like Jane, and the damage bonus on her W-Engine is very high value. Having energy coming from her W-Engine also means you have more freedom with using her double flamethrower without running out of energy so easily, which offset the anomaly build up coming from her M1.

It would be so much better to see test results presented as pro/con trade-offs, instead of "bait" and "traps", implying that there is only one good way to use Burnice. These test results directly contradict the results of other theorycrafters on KZbin. I've seen tests that recommend double flamethrower and tests that recommend single. I've seen tests that prove Burnice is not Energy Regen limited and tests that prove that she is. It's very confusing! What this all tells me is that IT'S ALL TRADE-OFFS. There's no one right way to play Burnice, you choose the trade-offs you need for your team and the situation. Want Burn faster? Use double flamethrower EX, which will cost you energy efficiency. Need Burnice on field for more time? That will cost you Afterburn damage. Every pro has a con and what works best in a situation depends on what you are trying to optimize.

It will be extremely difficult to test until Yanagi is out. Because which u you, will be completely depends on HOW fast can Yanagi apply electric anomaly. However it will probably be somewhere in between. With burnice you will be playing around the heat. BUT if you are building up too much fire. Than double flame + after burn style can slow it down. If you are building up too little. Single flame + double burst give you more build up. Like I said in the end of the video, be flexable I promise I will have a more detailed video about it once Yanagi early access is out.

i think you should consider this style if you arent getting her sig, what it does is it increases your dmg upto 70% + 50 AP when she is off field on top of her 0.6 energy gen. i also suspect that its good enough to alleviate from playing quick swap so u can be 'lazy' by playing off her heat, basically rewarding whoever that got her sig, on paper anyway

so basically you just want to use her energy more than her heat, use extra heat to use charged basic for more anomaly, use single ex into double poof for less dps but more overall anomaly damage. burnice's kit never seemed like the part of her that was going to be most interesting to me, all of these sorts of little tricks to making the most of the team are why i'm excited for her most, personally the disorder team being very involved is fun to me

I've been experimenting for a few months with a combination of an Ice and Fire disorder team. Ellen, Lucy, and S11. It's a higher skillcap to do disorder comps, but that's what I was going for. My ellen can hard carry ice all by herself, and I have Ellen built for increased ATK stats over ice ones. Lucy is surprisingly good as a support for any team, regardless whether it's a team with fire or disorder, she buffs her squad off field for a long time if built and triggered in chain properly. Burnice is going to fill out my fire team, and slot into my Disorder team replacing S11, just to see if it's better.

Soldier 11. Did you forget about her?😂 Burnice will make Soldier 11 stronger by making and keeping many enemies burning, continously. This will make S11's disc drive passive active all the time. There isn't a faster way to apply burn unless you slot in anamoly mastery on S11. You could also just make her Burnice a main dps and let your stunner and support deal the heat procs. This video is a bit tunnel visioned lol

When one account saves, another can be spent on un-own characters. No need to play shiyu or hollow zero on the first two months because causal playing. Doesnt matter too much for me.

Yes. The trap is more about the after burn mechanic and the specific rotation you will be running her with Yanigi.

So from what I understand, the first playstyle (double assault jane doe) wouldn't work for when teamed with Yanagi or other anomaly agents with Fire, Ether or Shock. Playstyle that makes better Burnice 😱: 1. Use charged attack strategically because it allows more anomaly buildup 2. Best way to build up heat WHILE conserving energy is with single barrel fire to double barrel burst. also, don't use double barrels as often in Yanagi teams. Afterburn + Double barrel will likely be too slow on anomaly build up and cause Yanagi to trigger shock back to back during rotation.

crit helps with the dps but it's so insignificant you can get away with no crit at all basically, using a crit/crit dmg 4 piece is trolling. Crit should only be on substats and should never be chosen over proficiency or attack.

She's good for any dps that stays on field a lot, of which Jane is by far the strongest. The video only mentioned the trend of characters that complement each other running back to back, not that Caesar is only good for Jane, it was pretty easy to understand
