The Power of Adapting and Flexibility

This episode really hit home for me. I have an audition this evening and I was told by the CD a few days ago that they would send me sides. Well I don’t want to be pushy but I never received them. So I reached out to the CD this morning, and she said that I would get them at the audition. I am somewhat familiar with this project but I’m not sure how to approach this character and I was really looking forward to getting my eyeballs on some lines. BUT, your podcast just reminded me how important flexibility is in this business. So rather than over prepare the lines or dwell on not getting them before hand, I think I will practice cold reading before the audition tonight. Thanks guys! I listen every week and consider Acting Class Weekly to be a useful implement in my ever expanding acting toolbox. Keep it up!

Speaking of Sean sounding like a Handler for spies, do any of you think you've worked with people who are or were spies? Especially for Sean, it seems like there's a higher probability of that happening than there is for either Roxy or Jeff.
