Ive never bothered to look up how to do 3D beyond the "classic 3d" mode. Thanks for showing me I was just a click away to the next level. Obivously it doesn't replace having a dedicated 3D software like Cinema4D, but that's another can of worms... and budget. Thanks!

Is there anyway to bypass the extrusion depth cap of 1000? I've been looking for a way/explanation but have yet to find anything. I have a small square that then needs to extrude/grow into a skyscraper and the cap of 1000 doesn't let it grow tall enough for what I need.

Nevermind! When scrubbing the extrusion depth values it caps at 1000, but you can manually type in higher values. Woohoo!

you don't need to download anthing. The cinema 4D render setting is a default for After effects. Just look for it in the composition settings😊

after effects is 2.5D and you cant create complex models in it compared to blender and any other 3D softwares. Blender is just better than AE when it comes to 3D
