Last Twilight is the best. I know that the ending might not be appreciate by some fans. But for me, as the one who encounters many struggles in life, I do love this ending. They bring me back the belief that hope is still waiting for you there, you just have to keep finding it. I know that if Day kept being blind, it would be a strong impact like disable people can be happy. But I think the series had already sent that message. We all see that Day eventually was being happy with his blind life for almost 4 years. The regaining of his vision back to me was just an extra gift. If I was Day and the hope comes to me, I would do the same, grab it tightly as I can. Importantly, Day now is not the same man who he was before he got an accident. He now is the one who will cherish every moment of his life. He found his lover and his business since he was still being blind. The fact that he is not blind anymore doesn't make this beautiful message seemed loss to me. Moreover, I'm so happy that Day gained his vision back because he finally can see how kind Mhok looking on him! The most beautiful and warmest eyesight from the walking greenest flag. He should have a chance to experience that gazes. He deserves it. So this series is now my top tier BL. Thank you so much. I enjoy watching your reaction every week and now I can't wait for your next contents as well. See you! PS. For the break up part, I think it's very necessary because Mhok almost turned into the overprotective boyfriend. Due to his love and concern, he would be the new previous Day's mom in term of Day's boyfriend. He seemed like he didn't believe Day could have a normal life anymore. That will fortunately result in the toxic relationship. I think, after 3 years, Mhok knew this well so this might be the reason why he said sorry. But I agree with you. Day should have said sorry too.

Actually, Day also knew, they have to sacrifice their feeling loving each other over breaking up, yet he was also felt sorry to Mhok. That's why he wrote the book to express his feeling sorry towards Mhok, and why he could not live with the person that he loved.

I completely agree with you. Last Twilight became my favorite BL, but ep12 definitely lacked the coherence, naturalness, and magic of the previous episodes. On the other hand, I'm tired of breakups and time jumps in episodes 11-12 of P'Aof's series. Day breaking up with Mhok after just a brief fight, blocking him from his contacts for THREE YEARS, without ever caring about the person who had given him the most love and care in his life, and who was also completely alone, with no one to turn to, seems totally unrealistic to me. The excuse for the breakup and the 3-year time jump was that they were going to heal and grow internally, but all they did was get a job: Day is still insecure, still rejecting Mhok because of his fears, and still traumatized by the pity issue. Meanwhile, Mhok remains attached and persistent, without dignity, apologizing to a person to whom the only harm he did was to love him too much. If Day had truly grown, he would have apologized to Mhok. So, what was the point of that breakup and time jump? I think it was just a matter of "drama for the sake of drama," which doesn't align with the perfection and professionalism of the rest of the series. On the other hand, Day saying he overcame a dark chapter in his life (his blindness), when in reality his character convinced us that you can only truly see with the heart, is another example of how out of character this episode felt. It's nice that regaining sight conveys hope, but you know what's better than hope? Knowing that you can lead a normal life, love and be loved, even with a disability.

Agreed, Last Twilight is definitely GMMTV’s best among its 2023 lineup. It could’ve been the best BL GMMTV has produced were it not for the last 2 episodes. The breakup scene was so contrived just for the sake of having a break up that they forgot a little bit of real life logic has to be applied to justify it. Honestly, I cannot get over the poorly written breakup scene because it affected so much how the plotline worked in the final scene. It would’ve been better if they’d explored the hows and whys of the breakup and further fleshed out what the characters thought and felt when it happened and after the breakup. To see Mhok and Day interact the same way as if time didn’t pass just defeated the point of the time jump. Also why did it take 3 years for the mom to finally give Day relationship advice? It’s just so annoying.

Last twilight will forever be the best series, all the crying was worth it, i still can't see what Our greenest flag guy did wron'g, and if he did something so wrong out of all people he deserved a second chance, Day should also see not the wrong Mhok did but his wrong too. JimmySea is one of the raising couple now and thanks to P'Aof he did great on this Series, many lesson to be learn specially treating disabled people,.. For me too, when i watch it yesterday, i think i don't care and it doesn't matter if Day can see again or not because what the matter the most are the realization and lesson .. but atleast its happy ending for them their back together ❤ 1 series down again 12 episodes run so fast 😅😅

Same!! SAME! I was looking forward how the story would unfold around their relationship and it felt rushed, and putting all the blame on Mhok is very disappointing. Moreover they never addressed Mhok’s life issue about being on his own and his fear of losing his loved ones (it was the dropping bomb of episode 11 how he feels guilty and responsible of his sister’s suicide). I would have preferred the episode to be focused on Mhok and his healing journey that set him to coming winning his man back. Also agreed that Mhok is the greenest flag of them all!!!

I personally think the breakup was needed because day had become too dependent on mork and i personally feel like mork apologizing makes sense because that time day felt incompetent of doing anything by himself and that breakup led day to continue his education on his own which was great. I really loved the series it was great! 10/10

I really don’t understand either. In my eyes Mhok didn’t do anything to Day that warranted breaking up with him. Day is treating Mhok as though Mhok cheated on him. I understand your anger and frustration. I’ve listened to several people say that Day was doing it for Mhoks own good. Don’t Agree with that necessarily at all, although I do think it might have been a small part of it. Primarily, I do think it was immaturity and selfishness on Day’s part. And basically it was a breaking a trust which is very important. Day promised to never let go of his hand, and he did the exact worst thing you could do he let go of it for nothing, and kicked Mhok to the curb as you said. I’m not quite as harsh on Day as you are. But I think you’re right. 💯

I don't agree when you say that the separation was useless, it allowed Mhok to live for himself without being dependent on Day, and it's the same for Day, he relied too much on Mhok. I knew that Day was going to regain his sight, since someone had spoiled the end of the book, but I was hoping that P'Aof would make another choice, but hey.... it's still an excellent BL

On the Day's side, he also able to finish his study and pursued his dream to run the book shop yet also became a writer even though his was blind. So being apart for a while between them actually was a good learning process for them becoming grown up people and matured.

Mmmm well. I’m still confused I think. Mhork did what wrong? I feel like I missed something. I did really like it, acting was superb, was amazing but it felt really rushed. I would have liked him to remain blind tbh, and show a normal life being blind. I did love it though.

I’m so disappointed with the ending of this series. It feels like it lost its way during episode 10. I watched the series with my cousin who is blind. She was so sad about the ending. She said it is so hard to find a show that showcases blindness as normal. The message that Day has to have his eyes fixed in order to be happy defeats the entire premise of the show that they preached to us over and over again. “You don’t need sight to see). It would have made more sense had we seen him live his life happily as a blind man when he was separated from Mhok….but we never saw it. All we got was Mhok apologizing over and over again, and then Day’s eye surgery. It felt very “let’s throw this in the end). It felt like very lazy writing in a series that had incredible storytelling and writing in the beginning. This series had the potential to be one of te best lgbt+ dramas. I wanted to see something different instead of the same episode 11 breakup and time skip. Someone on twitter wrote an ending they thought would have made more sense…and I agree completely with it. Just really disappointed.

I don't know, but in my opinion it was good and I liked that Day got his sight back, it was somewhat slowly that I found his time, it wasn't easy and he had many difficulties. he came back as a couple, his brother got married and he graduated happily well before his last operation so it's normal that he can see. it's hope I understand your point of view but every malicious person deserves to have a chance and a hope of seeing again, they even showed me an operation which failed in episode 11 to show us that it will be difficult but not impossible to regain our sight so for me it is a perfect series everyone ends up happy even parents and friends it's often difficult to have this kind of ending for a series but it's acceptable

Ep. 1-10 were great, so was ep. 11 - until the breakup. That came out of nothing and was a letdown - as was the conclusion of the main plotline in ep. 12. For me "Last Twilight" will be a very good BL with a disappointing end.
