M40 is the same as exact stats as the Remington, it it just a reskin

Only downside for losing is it can only take and 8x while m40 can take all of them to my knowledge

@@imjackandurnot m40 does 178 to head, 78 to torso and 65 to gut. while mosin does 192 to the head, 84 to torso and 70 to gut, so a considerable upgrade. The mosin can (i think based off of experience) one tap military helmets, and it has the same velocity, rpm, and range as the m40

they are located on roads, but you will find them at paradise, and other major monuments with high player density. You might also find some stuck in the forest, if that helps edit: No, you do not need to repair them
