For the folks complaining about the community coming together to help with cleanup, look at the devastation. The proper equipment has to be available.

It's discomforting to see people passing the debris on the road and not even trying to remove what they can.

Reid, thanks for sharing, however, everyone should come together and clean up their community. The police have their part, JPS has their part and the soldiers have their part to play. It should be a community effort. Again, thank you

Fire Reid, Success is in Ridge Pen, my friend. Ridge Pen is the district and Success is a area in Ridge Pen. Success was owned by a man named Alford. Alford was supposedly a Jamaican, he was white. Some people said that Alford was an American. He died around 1971. The place was subsequently taken over, by the James from Treasure Beach. The government does not maintain the the road surfaces and the sides of the roads, so this is what you get with bad governance. Blessed love

It's not the bread basket parish anymore, it's a trans-shipment point and a haven for scammers and criminals. Sadly.

Can’t the local people try and help themselves by clearing fallen trees and debris from the roads instead of cars having to drive around the mess. When I was a child growing up in Trelawny everyone would get together and do a clear up instead of waiting for the local authority to come and do it for them. Different generation!
