Very good analysis, I am from Bratislava Slovakia and politicians have been acting very impolite for decades, especially Robert Fico. This is the result of this behavior.

It was actually very inaccurate but interesting only insomuch to see what the official narrative will be. It's been confirmed he was a product of media and PS disinformation and extreme rhetoric and even attended the PS rallies which the media promoted. The slovak media needs to be reformed to at least be more reflective of the fact over half the country doesn't agree with the policies of PS.

Yes, he's an old pensioner, 71 years old. A former worker in coal mines in the town that vatnik PM visited. He's a writer, racist and a "peace activist". He and took part in activities of pro-ruSSian militias in Slovakia called "Slovak conscripts" (now disbanded after made illegal couple of years ago).

Of course not I expect Fico's FSB handlers decided he was more use to them as a dead "martyr" than alive, especially since he is not being as strong a thorn in the EU/NATO side as Orban has been. The fact that the oppostion party is now being blamed is part of the FSB plan. Unfortunately for them, FICO is so far managing to survive. if he continues to do so, one can hope he will realize who his real enemy is Russia and their security services and not the West.

TVP has really gone downhill since Tusk sent the police to your offices to put his agents in charge. Isn't that the critique of Fico which he hasn't even done in Slovakia with the state broadcaster? CNN and Sky are reporting he attended the opposition rallies and was incited by the liberal media and PS party. The smugness of this reporter is exactly why Fico was trying to reform the one state broadcaster it's full of leftist misinformation pushers like her. She was essentially blaming Fico for his own assassination when it was her media colleagues' propaganda that got us here. Even the President came out today and admitted blame for stoking division.
