Yes, that is the truth. But he couldn't say that because he was the same way and had been with a lot of women. He was fine with using women, not just being with one he saw as used. He's a total hypocrite. She did not boost his image like he wanted. Worse than that he acted like he was trying to protect her. Total opposite, he was protecting himself so he wouldn't look bad in the end. Looked for other excuses to blame it on.

Part of being in a marriage is to be honest with one another. Brennan wasn't ready for marriage. He never wanted to articulate his true feelings to Emily. He always said he don't want to hurt her feelings or he want to protect her. He really didn't care about Emily. He was just worried about how he would appear on national tv.

No one seems attracted to each other this season. I think if physical attraction is important to you, you shouldn’t be on the show. You’re definitely playing a game of Russian roulette and hoping that the “experts” (with a success rate of 10%) are going to find you someone you think is hot.

Thank you for posting this afterparty clip. This is the most complete that Brennan has communicated about what bothered him about Emily. I can understand why he didn't want to say it on camera before. He was actually trying to be nice while they were still married by not blabbing about her previous unattractive behavior.

He still ended up blabbing it out on national television. He could have just told Emily the truth when it was happening. It could have saved the marriage or helped it end faster but they would be more clear about the situation. He’s a turd and I hope his next wife is either a stripper or a prostitute. I decided to post it so you guys could hear it for yourself especially since he won’t as we’re watching the season/episodes. Thanks for the comment.

Let's be honest here. It wasn't her confession that she liked to drink and party that turned Brennan off. He is just using that as an excuse. He just wasn't physically attracted to her despite her great personality. He wasn't mature. He needed to see beyond her physical appearance. Although I think she is beautiful inside and out. Too bad Brennan could not see that.

I was concerned that this relationship might turn abusive. Brennan showed her he was not interested, but Emily was delusional. I remember him telling her that he was not attracted to her. Then, right after, she said, "I know he has feelings, but he doesn't know it." Gurl, what more do you want him to say? For him to say something nasty or force himself to love you? Emilys lack of boundaries, self-respect, passive-aggressiveness, body language in front of others, and not standing up for herself and communicating her feelings were not attractive. So Brennan doesn't have to want her but should have been honest and divorced her, She is very good at criticizing other people's relationships while ignoring her problems. Still, It's sad to watch her become bitter, trying to make him want her. I genuinely felt sorry and scared for her and hoped she would divorce him.

Judgement is a big reason why I never wanted to get married. She should be able to trust her husband with her life, good and bad. People are too quick to judge others but hate it when it bounces back to them.
