Personally, I would have let the Joseph live and convert him to the Afton side. He seems like he already didn't like the toxicity of his family and was the only one who I really liked. He totally seemed convincible to me to keep quiet and would have probably liked the Aftons in time. I think Evan could have had him as a good friend too and the bean looked so sad to see him gone... Especially since Joseph was so accepting and nice about his mutism even..🥲
