I remember when at the start of the season everyone made it look Partey was the one going to sit on the bench 😂 And I said this same Partey put Rodri on the bench at Atletico(he practically forced him to City as he could not get ahead of Partey at Atletico). If he stays fit trust me he will be the main stay at no 6 for next two years for Arsenal. And yes, Partey is better than Zubimendi too. A fit Partey is better than just about everyone at the no 6 and I am a Sheffield United fan.

It's for the simple fact that Sporting CP play the 3-4-3 formation as to why I'd like to see Arteta follow suit, safe in the knowledge that we're not only accustomed to it but have produced some of our best football doing so on a part time or auxiliary basis when inverting a full back and make a box midfield able to fluidly rotate to a diamond. If it's reasonable that the argument is lost regards which attack is the most potent, it's equally reasonable to declare it's squared up by us claiming the better defence. With midfield therefore the deciding factor, Odegaard, Partey, Merino and Rice against their midfielders SHOULD then equate to a royal flush verses four of a kind.

Raya, timber, saliba, gabriel, califiori, partey, merino, odegard, saka, jesus, gabi. ideal 5 subs, timber off for rice (partey RB), Zinny/Kiwior;/Tierney for califiori, kai for merino, ethan for odegaard, sterling for saka. gives some players much needed game time but also fresh for westham and united coming up

Califiori is criminally underrated. Last game he skipped the midfield nearly every time. His positioning when he have possession is amazing too. He timing of inverting and drawing players away is amazing. He’s confident and strong and if he is around the box in possession, unlike say zinchenko, opponents fear he might just shoot from distance which means the block his line at goal but this opens up the centre forward space. This player is a gold singing in my view
