Well, Dortmund is a joint-stock company at the stock market. Of course one of their main purpose is profit. I think the reasons are the terraces, where you can stand, the sections for the hardcore fans and the cheap tickets. There are much more stadiums in Germany where the athmosphere is similar. And the tickets are affordable for everyone. In Mainz, you can buy the ticket for the "standing and singing section" for 13,50 €...that is less than 12 £...
@olayinkaamara3857 жыл бұрын
sulze77 We need those terraces here in the this country and make to the prices cheap so the hardcore fans can come. However, I have doubts as to whether this will happen.
@tymonpiorowski67247 жыл бұрын
BVB has a cheap tickets, so there is many ''working class'' people coming there, not like Arsenal - sounday tourists from middle East, Asia or Africa.. You have the highest price tickets, so don't expect really supporters on Emirates stadium. You just don't have enough ''normal people'' on stadium to make any atmosphere. Simple.

That´s the problem in the Premier League: Fans are customers, and the clubs want customers that are willing to pay a good amout of money. Tickets in the Bundesliga are relatively cheap as fans are considered a vital part of the club, not just customers that leave their hard earned money there. With those "fans" that pay a fortune come "fans" that expect a spectacle. If things don´t go right, they stop going to the stadium. Football should be affordable for the working class people that have a tradition going to the stadium, supporting their club through good and bad times. Nothing wrong with bringing in a few other visitors, but I am happy that tickets are not as expensive in Germany as they are in England.

The atmosphere is insane, the fans do what they want the stewards can't control 55,000 people and to be honest don't even try to they just join in watching the match, everyone is stood up for 90 mins, even standing on the chairs. The bit that really stood out to me is when you said Robbie, that if a player is having a bad game, they will start singing his name and pushing him to play better. That is priceless. Do you know how that would make a player feel??? There is so so much that Arsenal can do like them to make us even better as a club. A singing section is vital for atmosphere and that would be easy to do. Please, I just hope someone influential at the club watches the entire video and really listens and takes on board what is being said and shown here, and implements at least some of it into our club. Me personally would invest my hard earned money to go and watch more games if it was like this. Fantastic Video

I live in Atlanta and we recently got a new team. I went to their last home game and no one sat down. Everyone in the stands were standing the whole time and that's what needs to be done in the BPL. And I'm also an Arsenal. Just pray that things will get better for our club.

I'm a liverpool fan but I watched this because it is quite interesting The Emirates has a shit atmosphere Highbury had a good one but modern football is fucking England even Anfield ! Changes to bring: Move kickoff back to later time (12:30 ridiculous) Safe standing (JFT96 but the standing is safe the majority of pool fans want it) Stewards need to stop being drastically safe Need singing sections Need leaders to sing at bottom like Celtic No phone or sitting area like Legia Warsaw And lastly PYRO!!!!

Robbie, big fan of the channel. I've been to watch Buriram United who are one of the top teams in Thailand (look them up) with a crowd of under 20,000 and without doubt the best atmosphere I've experienced having been to champions league knock out stages at old Trafford and the Etihad. The noise was like nothing else and the fans give everything. All clubs in England could learn something from looking at teams abroad. It's about time we implemented safe standing and brought the atmosphere back to our grounds!
@neilaustin38567 жыл бұрын
Great atmosphere ! Just like it used to be in the old North bank , standing. Most people in the stand way before the game started , singing having a laugh. Now when you to to go the Emirates most people are having a burger behind the stands or in the shops before the game . The people that are in the ground before the game get drowned out by the tannoy . Most of all football in England lost its soul when the premier league started and Sky got into the game , its way to commercial now . Once the working class mans game , with players on the pitch you could relate to , it's anything but that now , sad . You get more passion on the pitch from the players at my local park , why MONEY & GREED . You will never get back what we once had , it's gone to far the other way.
@anish31837 жыл бұрын
Forget it, you will never see atmosphere like this in the Premier League, those days of the old terraces are long gone, and English Football sold out around that time.

@betheladiele46847 жыл бұрын
Atmosphere doesn't naturally occur. It takes a group of people to make an atmosphere. It is manufactured. Look at the Arsenal away fans. They manufacture an atmosphere. We need to manufacture an atmosphere.

That's why German fans own the English ones at Champions League games, too? Where no drums and stuff are allowed? 2000 Leverkusen fans (by far not the most glorious ones) were still louder and more impressive than 80.000 Spurs fans at Wembley. German fans are FANS. English ones mostly customers. Talking about Huddersfield - with a German owners, German coach, German coaching stuff and half a team being Germans it's a very clever thing to mention this club when trying to insult Germans. FAIL!

@@2komma2 50 for a game ? i visit every home game and you my man have been scammed
@ose19985 жыл бұрын
You have to pay 40€ for a regular game. Its hard to get tickets, the stadium is almost every time sold out Especially the yellow wall. The tickets get very fast sold out and you have to buy them more exoensive on the Internet. Only if you gut a season ticket its cheaper and if you got last year one you have the chance to expend it. In Dortmund they say you have to wait until someone die to get one, but the most people in dortmund hand them to their kids or grandkids and expend them every year.
@ose19985 жыл бұрын
The normal prices are about 17€ but if you look it up they costing 30€ on the internet in this moment. And they're getting more expensiv day by day

So I had my phone turned off, so I turned it back on to rewatch the video but I forget that I had my volume at 100% so the loud Dortmund fans in the video woke up everyone in the house...
@refragerator7 жыл бұрын
Just to add to this video: Lots of German football stadiums with slightly smaller terraces than Dortmund (or Stuttgart, or Frankfurt) don't have microphones but only use megaphones and if the terraces are not as huge as in Dortmund, there's a lot of songs coming from the crowd and not just the Ultràs too. Since you want to draw comparisons to what you can do at Arsenal, you might want to check out Hansa Rostock's Ultràs. They're only 3rd division but highly praised all over Germany -and they stand on a terrace that is fully seated too. They have much less support by the club, they have less opportunity like giant clubs like Dortmund. So if you'd try to introduce a bit of Ultrà culture, the drummers, the capos, the lead songs but also the songs out of the crowd, you might wanna check some of the stuff in Rostock out, because they do A LOT out of very little. Cheers mate, better times'll come for Arsenal.

It's impossible to Bring to England what Germany have. German teams have the best Fans I've heard because their Team fans are absolutely Magnificent when it comes to support and showing it. I love to watch English Football and I can tell you, When you compare German teams fans to England fans It doesn't even seem like England team have fans
@dreimeterpeter11577 жыл бұрын
